A bit of 70's Kitsch

Great place to stay for the money. The gentleman that checked us in and brought us extra towels without being asked. Not run down but vintage style. We would definitely stay again.

Basic but clean

Super basic no frills room, small. Bathroom updated, but furnishings could use updates. Clean and fridge, micro, ice, all the essentials.Smelled like smoke so certainly not a non smoking room. Overall an option for a quick sleep when passing through.

Was given key to room that was occupied then told the room I was being placed in was more expensive and was asked to move the next day to the lower priced room. Rooms were outdated and metal under beds made noise like thunder anytime someone moved. Shower looked like something from when I went to summer camp in early 80s

Would not accept the money I had paid to Expedia when I made my reservation months ago. Had to pay again to stay there, so I paid twice. Expedia couldn't help me. I have been trying to get refunded the money I originally paid but nothing is working so far. Very unhappy with the hotel and Expedia about this.

Ugh

Would not recommend. The gentleman at the desk was nice. I was in the shower when the cleaning lady unlocked the door and started coming in. I yelled that there was someone in the room. I thought it was my husband til I heard the female. This was at 8:30 in the morning. We reserved a smokefree room and it smelled horrible of smoke. Beds very uncomfortable, shower was off putting. We left a day early because of the issues. Never again for us.

Nice quaint motel.

very nice place for the price. Small 19 room motel not to far from town and food stores. my room did not have a tub ( no problem for me )but a pretty big shower. microwave and fridge in room BUT i think the small addition of a coffee pot and alarm clock would have been nice. all in all a very nice friendly place to stay. If you require a fancy place, you should look elsewhere. While you may read in other reviews about a restaurant across the street, it was for sale on my stay 2/28/2020 I was very pleased with I got for my money!

The pillow cases were stained and the comforter had cigarette burns. The attendant at check-in was rude, accusing us of not disclosing that our two children would be staying in the room with us—until I pointed out on our paperwork that they were down as guests. I didn’t expect much. It’s a cheap motel that we were staying in for an overnight trip, but courtesy would have been nice.

Smells terrible, floor sticky, broken bed

Advertised as a non smoking room but the room smelled very very much like smoke. The bed was terrible half of the bed was broken and sagging down about 4 inches lower than the other half.

Cheap, old motel, but what you need when all you need is a bed for a couple of nights. There are no extras, no working vending machines. Highly recommend this motel to save money while attending an event within an hours drive.

For a budget motel, this facility was as good as any I have ever visited throughout the US. I stayed by myself while attending a car race event in southern Virginia. The motel is very conveniently located off the freeway. The hotel is well signed and well lit at night. The proprietor is friendly and reasonable. The carpet and bedding in room 2 were clean and functional. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The towels were much larger than at most motels in this category. There is cable TV but not ultra HD. There is a small business district about one mile away with a grocery store with some chain restaurants and one local bar-b-que style restaurant. I would stay there again if the need arises.

The room I had the shower drain was slow in draining or slightly plugged so the residual water overflowed onto the floor. The sink drain was also slow in draining. The tops of the two florescent wall lights hadn't been dusted in awhile.

Bed Buds...Really????

We checked in, showered and went too sleep. Awoke to a phone call from my youngest son, in the midst of that my oldest son awoke and said he was itchy. Gave him a look over and noticed these bites all over him. Checked the bed he slept in and seen two dead bed bugs on the sheet. Notified management and the lady got super nasty with us!!!!
