The room was not very clean. There were dirty smudges on the floor like they used dirty mop water and our shoes were sticking when we walked on it (tiled wet area, not including the carpet). There was blood on the drapes that the hotel staff attempted to clean off. Water marks all over the ceiling throughout the hotel halls. Despite the uncleanliness, the staff was very sweet and the breakfast was great for hotel breakfast. Would not stay there again for the price we paid.

This used to be a nice hotel (named another chain) when I went to college in this town. It is where we always stayed when visiting. But now that it has changed hands, it is crumbling. The furniture was dilapidated, my non-smoking room was a nasal assault of old-smoke odor, the front doors stayed open rather than opening and closing with motion, the ice machine was out of ice, and the overall condition of the whole building felt run-down, dingy, and in disrepair. I didn’t eat the breakfast given the state of the my room and hallways. My room’s window wouldn’t latch (first floor, security concern), so they put a small PVC pipe as a “block” from It opening. And you can hear everything from other rooms around you in your room and hallways. Next time I visit town, I’ll definitely stay elsewhere.

This place is by far my top 2 places to stay an feel comfortable. I love the setting here, it's quiet. The breakfast is fantastic!!! All around a good environment to chill out

There was no hot water, a burn hole in one of the the bedspreads, and the neighbors were incredibly loud - very thin walls. The staff was very friendly, and everything was clean. I just expected a little better for what I paid. Thanks!

The guy at the front desk was nice. Breakfast was pretty good. The carpet was soaking wet the mold and water damage visible in the bathroom made me wonder how much mold was in the air/wet carpet. there was dirt in the corners of the room, the fixtures were missing covers or not working at all. We checked in then left for dinner with people we were traveling with and found out they were given the same room the prior night but had complained and were moved, so the staff definitely knew about the problems. We were planning to request a room change, but upon return from dinner, emergency responders were flooding in to assist with a guest’s health crisis.
