"Great location with spectacular views. The house has a curious layout but enough space for the whole family. The updated master is beautiful but the other bathroom could use a new shower head. The home was clean and the pool was a nice extra. Appreciate the amount of towels but wish the master had a king bed. Overall we were satisfied and would return as it met all our needs."

"Property was as described. Did have a slightly 'old' smell, but I guess that is to be expected when it is an older building. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay with stunning sunsets and sunrises, we would happily stay again."

"These photos make the place look even better for a group stay. I’d definitely mention the outdoor games, fire pit, hammocks, seating, and game room because those are the kinds of details people look for when booking for a wedding weekend.Here’s a stronger version:We had an amazing stay at Flaming Flats and it was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend and rehearsal dinner. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had so many thoughtful touches that made our stay easy — plenty of towels, soaps, shampoos, pillows, blankets, and all those little extras you don’t always think to bring.The outdoor space was one of our favorite parts. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather, with a fire pit, hammocks, lots of seating, yard games, and even a putting area. It gave everyone something to do and made it such a fun place to spend time together.The separate party/game room was also a huge hit. It gave us even more space to hang out and was perfect for a larger group.Flaming Flats worked wonderfully for hosting our rehearsal dinner and gave our family and friends a place to relax, visit, and enjoy the entire weekend together. We made so many great memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend it for wedding weekends, family gatherings, or any group looking for a fun and comfortable place to stay!"

"Room was newly renovated and done up very nicely. Only inconvenience was not having a designated platform to place our luggage. We ended up using the living room table as our luggage platform"

"I didn't see the steep staircase until I arrived. Maybe I missed it. This would be very important to know prior to booking. We had one person that struggled with the stairs others may not be able to do it.The place is very large and clean, host answered very quickly and was very accommodating, I would stay again.Thank,Wendy"

"We (mom, dad, adult kids and spouse) were in the area for a family wedding and found this apartment to be the perfect space. We especially appreciated 2 bathrooms which I wasn’t finding anywhere else. The bedrooms were spacious and private while the kitchen and living areas were comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect, a short drive to the wedding in Pepin, plenty of free parking and steps from the Eagle Center (also well worth visiting) Wonderful place and great communication before our stay. Highly recommended."
