Clarington Hotel Guide - Darlington Sports Centre hotels in Clarington, Canada.

"We called the day before check in to confirm if they had cribs or not and were told they did and that they would let housekeeping know that we needed one so we didn’t bring one with us. When I checked in I confirmed they had put a crib in the room and explained that we had called ahead and he said it should be. When we got to the room there was no crib so I called the front desk and he said he would get it taken care of. About 15 minutes later he called to advise they do not have cribs and he would give us a refund if we wanted to leave. It was late and my toddler needed to get to bed so leaving and finding another hotel wasn’t an option. We called Travelodge customer service and they confirmed the property and independently owned but that they should have cribs and even tried to get the managers phone number as we had been denied to speaking with a manager. The front desk agent didn’t give her much and there was nothing she could do. We ended up having to go stand at the front desk and say we’re not leaving until he provides a crib like we were promised. After awhile he admitted they did have them and he just didn’t know where they were or how to set up so we advise we would set it up but he had to find it and it wasn’t until than that he actually looked and provided one after being lied to several times. Horrible service and still have yet to hear from the manager who I advised I wanted to hear from asap. No apologies given at all. Do not recommend the is hotel at all."

"Hotel was easy to access, plenty of parking. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast times were excellent and breakfast too was excellent - a variety of healthy foods to choose from. The whole building - rooms, lobby, elevator, stairwells were meticulously clean. "

"Staff is always so professional, polite and friendly. Area has great access to highway and local restaurants, malls and transit. Rooms are big and clean with many good amenities. It is an older building but in great shape. Stayed many times and it's a clean and reliable Home away from home"

"The reason for the two stars is reated on experience. We were there for a dance competition... and there was also a hockey team above and were extremely disruptive till almost past 1130 at night.... "

"This hotel was clean, friendly staff and was able to accommodate our hockey team to have a meal as a team and there was no issue. "

"Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was amazing. They had areas where the hockey parents could go to hang out in the evening. Ac/heat were great. "
