"Although a slightly older property and still rebuilding from the ‘17 hurricanes (the bar/restaurant is schedule to reopen in about a month), Fort Recovery is well appointed, clean, quiet, minutes from restaurants and amenities, and a beautiful place to unwind. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen has all the basics for cooking in. The pool and beach are small, but lovely with good snorkeling right off the beach. The gym is small, but with some creativity, a good workout is easy to program—dumbbells 2#-50# & cardio equipment: treadmill, bike, & elliptical (pro tip: go earlier in the day for cooler workout conditions). Justin, the owner, couldn’t be more helpful with dinner reservations, taxi tours, and other helpful advice. We will be back!"
