  • A Dauphin Island house nestled in the trees with large sand dunes between the house and the Gulf of Mexico. This is a quiet street on the west end of the Island near the public beach.

    It has 2 Bedrooms: #1 with a king size bed and #2 with two twin beds. One bath with a large garden tub and a separate shower. TV's and DVD's are in each bedroom and living room.

    A full Kitchen,with granite counter tops, separate dining area, and a living room. Sliding glass doors open to a large balcony with room for grilling or dining.

    We are licensed with the 'Town of Dauphin Island' and the State of Alabama.

Very clean and fit our needs for this trip. AC and all appliances worked well. Convenient location and even provided a couple of beach chairs for use. The large, shaded deck was very nice.A bit dated and could use some weather stripping around the front door and degreaser on the kitchen cabinets.

Clean and cozy cottage

No frills, pet and family friendly cottage in a lovely neighborhood near the beach. Very clean and comfortable with a covered porch that was perfect for AM coffee and rainy afternoons.

Very nice! Didn't realize there was another rental property in the backyard so we did get a little scare when people pulled up and started walking under the porch to the backyard. Short walk to the beach. Would stay here again.

Great place for the perfect getaway

We loved everything about our trip! The home was wonderful, perfect location, the island is beautiful and peaceful, plenty of things to do for my whole family, my two dogs had a great time playing with us on the beach! Joy is a wonderful host!

Home in Paradise

Love the feel of Dauphin Island, and this house gave us our own place to relax and enjoy it. Easy access to the beaches and a great quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Quiet spot in the neighborhood. Easy walk to the middle beach, bike anywhere on the island in minutes. 3rd or 4th stay in this property, price means we can come more often!

Home away from home

It’s not just a house, it’s a home. My daughter stayed while attending summer classes at the sea lab and my husband and I also enjoyed the house. Felt very safe and felt like home.

peaceful getaway

Enjoyed our stay on Ohara Drive. The host was easy to contact and always responded quickly. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of linens in bathroom. My only complaint was the stairs but maybe that is because I am 77!! Will probably rent it again next year. It was peaceful and quiet.

Peaceful getaway

We love staying out this rental due to peaceful area. The place is always clean when we arrive. We love to sit on the patio and bird watch. Only set back this visit was a cold front came thru in late April and made it to cold to take a dip in the gulf water !

Perfect Weekend escape

The place is a little dated. Everything was well maintained and clean. The location is secluded and quiet. A little walk or drive to the public beach access. Overall, the rental surpassed my expectation.
