"It was very clean. The mattress was too firm for me to properly rest. The creek was very pretty to walk to and I enjoyed the wildlife. It is a bit more of a walk to the marina than I anticipated. The store was open but the Captain's Table was not open any of the 3 nights we were there. We were thankful for the Starkink as there is no cell service in this area. Thank you Caroline."

"We really enjoyed our time. Our two kids loved it and couldn’t get enough of the swimming with the slide and diving board. Use of the kayak was wonderful too. Waking up to that view was so refreshing. Thanks for the beautiful spot to stay hope to be back next summer."

"We had hoped we could easily pull a boat up to dock. Not only was it shallow there were rocks all through the access point.We had rented a boat and they gave us a map to navigate the entrance so to not damage the boat. It was so challenging that even I as a seasoned boater had a very difficult time.The water at the dock and beach was rough looking to the point you didn’t really want to play in it. All else was good- Daugherty was great, will not rent this property again because of dock area."
