Linen curtains flowing on to Baltic pine floors, all overlooking a grassed garden and paved courtyard.

​Large bedroom, queen bed, choice of pillows, generous en-suite , block out linen drapes ensures for a good nights sleep. Complimented by fluffy towels, slippers, smart TV, along with complimentary WiFi.

Tucked away, but close enough to everything, walking distance to the main street & a stroll to the botanic gardens and local “pub”.

This is a perfect start to your break away.

The Neighborhood:
Daylesford and the surrounding region has long been considered a special place of healing, relaxation and indulgence. Nestled at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, the region is most famously known for its natural mineral springs and is home to some of the best restaurants, cafe’s, galleries, wineries and distilleries regional Victoria has to offer. Located just under an hour and a half from Melbourne, the region is home to some of Australia’s most spectacular natural landscapes brimming with native flora and fauna. Getting Around:
There is a limited bus service operating between our beautiful towns. The PTV website will provide the most up to date schedule/timetable. There is a taxi and maxi-taxi local service which can be contacted. Unfortunately Uber has not quite reached us yet.

Daylesford Birch

We had a comfortable stay in a town that was heavily booked for the weekend. The Birch was nice but not at the level we were expecting for the money we paid. We like walking to town but there weren’t foot paths and guttering in the area we stayed, which in a town of this age was surprising. The bathroom fan was not usable. The bathroom door was not the best. Fluffy mats and pillows are not the cleanest things to use in a holiday rental. The decor of old suitcases was a bit out of date and with that type of clutter cleaning is more difficult. It was great to be warm and have electric blankets, thank you. The Birch had good appliances and comfortable chairs. So we were comfortable and warm and that’s what mattered in winter in Daylesford.
