Recently renovated rooms were a fun surprise, given the hotel itself had old original exterior & interior (which is also lovely). Great location right on the round about, so close for meandering to shops, cafes, park/playground if you're travelling with kids. Great hotel rates for what's on offer

The room was spotless and lovely..modern and stylish. I had everything I needed - a very comfortable bed, a huge tv and tea and coffee making facilities. Also a breakfast/starter kit. I unfortunately I did not realise that there is no lift and I have mobility issues..this was hard for me. I am not sure this was made clear somewhere.

Lovely old pub . We had a gorgeous room with ensuite . Luxurious feel. Had dinner there was very good. Staff great. Abit noisy for early sleepers but settled down after 12 . To be expected as it is a pub. Would recommend.

Location of the hotel is unbeatable, right in the town centre, close to where we came to visit. Food downstairs at the restaurant is beautiful too, would definitely recommend Royal Hotel Daylesford to my friends.

Room was beautifully renovated. Bathroom lovely. Quality linens and pillows. Beautiful touches with decor including extra blankets and cushions. Studio suite was perfect as it was at the back of the building and quiet. Bonus breakfast provisions were very welcome. Will definitely come back.
