Red Roof Inn Dayton - Huber Heights

"The walls are paper-thin. There was a door between my room and the one next to me and I was told that would be there. There was only one coffee pod in the room and when I went to the front desk to get another one, he quizzed my about what room I was in. The smell of air freshener about knocked me over when I opened the door. This hotel is in serious need of renovating. I'm 61 and have memories of staying in places like it when I was 10 and on vacation with my parents. There's a Comfort Inn behind this place. I wish I would have stayed there."

"Located right across from the University of Dayton, I recommend this property. It was my first time in Dayton and at a Marriott property. Amenities were great. Nice to have another breakfast area for us on the 6th floor! The cost is a bit more than I am used to but I was attending a graduation and wanted to be with others. My only issue (a small one) was that while the room was lovely and appeared clean, the carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed. I checked-in around midnight and went right to bed. In the morning, in the light of day, I noticed sock lint and other light colored debris on the carpet and near couch. I bit gross but I just wore slippers."

"The room was not very cared for the mirrors were dirty. Sheets had stains on them. The rooms by the ice machines are subjected to loud slamming all night long. The ceilings were falling down where there were buckets catching water. Breakfast was pretty good but other than that I do not believe we will book that again for our business trips. Pretty disappointed...."

"Parking in nearby garage, but inconvenient unless you unload before parking. Unloaded and loaded in the rain. Could have avoided with wariong from staff. Breakfast selection not as good as several other Marriott Inn & Suites I have stayed at recently-no fruit ex cept bananas and oranges. Room overlooked major street with loud traffic most of the night. Baseball games at stadium across the street were loud until the games ended. Regular lobby bartender was off and the backup staff could hve been better prepared for that role. However, fairly good value for the price."
