Everything was super except for the difficulty getting a receipt stating what my cost for staying there was. Breakfast good, nice TV/bed/bath, Pool looked great (unfortunately ran out of time before I could try it!), the rate I signed up for in advance was quite reasonable. Hope it's the same when I get my credit card bill, but I don't know that because of no receipt. I would stay again when in Brookings.

The day of our checkout the front desk clerk was very rude to my son and myself. The first night when we checked in the person was very nice, as was the new clerk the next day. On 8/28/2026 was our checkout, she acted like "how dare we bother her".

When we checked in at 4:30, they were still cleaning our room, we were not told they were still cleaning. We found out after we took all our stuff up to our room and had to wait in the hallway. Our hairdryer didn’t work and only had 2 towels in a double room, tried to call front desk and found out our phone also wasn’t working (cord wouldn’t stay hooked). Went down to front desk got towels and told them about our hairdryer and phone. We were told our phone does work but they would send someone to look at our hairdryer (no one ever came to look at it). Both ice machines weren’t working either. The hot tub and pool did work and was very relaxing. Also had great breakfast.
