"We have visited this property several times and have never been disapointed. The cabin in secluded and truly makes you disconnect from the world. It is always clean, they have everything you might need, communication is easy and instructions are clear and concise."

"Rustic cabin with historic feel, but modern conveniences. Host was more than accommodating on check-in and checkout and offered if we needed anything in between, we didn’t. Wonderfully private place to have adventures, we did fishing and biking. Pet friendly, which was a big selling point for us, we like to take our dog everywhere. We especially loved the shower products and the water pressure in the shower, excellent. Somebody else noted that some of the doorways are low, and my 6 foot three husband unfortunately had to remind himself of this many times using his head, so be aware. Also, there are likely going to be some cobwebs and critter bugs in the cabin, but they were not in any places that mattered much to us, the kitchen was very clean. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is a bit cooler."

"Overall impression: the perfect cabin experience! Remote but not alone. The cabin was stocked with everything I needed, right down to the wine bottle opener!The only thing I wish I had was more time! Sitting on the back porch watching and listening to the world waking up, I felt like I was in a tree fort. I braved the path the stream, not the easiest by any means, but the views along the way and finally reaching the bottom..the massive boulders and the water cascading over the rocks...worth it!!!As a solo traveler with a senior dog, this cabin was ideal. I was able to walk my dog along the road during the day, and the small yard came in handy for night trips. I couldn't bring her down to the stream, otherwise the house was perfect for her.I never worried about being alone in the woods, even if my kids joke with me about it lol. The house was very secure. The hot tub was so relaxing and again, as a solo traveler I usually have trouble with the tops on the hot tubs and generally just fold them in half...this had a hing system that made it so easy to take off and on...its the little things like this that you find here. The screen door on the porch had a hook/eye latch so I knew my dog wasn't escaping. Probably the best stay of my many VRBO stays."
