"Everything was great except the bed downstairs was very high. I had to buy a step stool at Little River Hardware at the end of Dempsey Street where the house is located in order to get in and out of the bed. I’m 5’2” but my room mate is 5’6” and had to use the sideboard and headboard to get on the bed."

"This is a lovely property on the brow of the hill and has a nice view, perfect for watching the sun set. It is very well kept and the owner was quick to come over and help us figure out how to operate the DVD player when we called them. The hot tub is great. The bed is comfortable and the screened in back porch is perfect for enjoying anytime of the day or night. Overall we would return in a heartbeat."

"Everything was very clean - even the hot tub was super clean!The dog run was perfect! Our pups could run around out back while we were grilling. Definitely recommend this for a secluded get away! It was just what we needed!"

"Perfection! The cottage was spotless. Amy thought of and provides all of your basic needs and then some compared to other properties that I have stayed. If you want to relax and de-stress, this is the place. The screened in back porch was where I stayed the majority of the time. The Mentone Market is a great place to stop on the way to the cabin to get premade salads, sandwiches, pimento cheese, or chicken salad. I am already planning to go back soon."
