Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast - well organised and filling. Something for everyone. Room was clean but a bit tired. It needs a renovation. Location - perfect! Quiet street 5 minutes from ocean promenade and handy to restaurants. Love the bar area - comfortable and elegant for a morning coffee or evening cocktail.

It was a decent property for a one night stay. Very close to the beach and walkable to all areas of town. Across from the iconic Hotel Normandy so it was nice to visit but not pay the high prices. No parking on site however free street parking 3 blocks up.

The 'amenities' quoted (spa, fitness centre, etc) were in a separate building across the road and were not included in the price we paid. We understood that off road parking would be available on site. We were told on arrival that this was not available and we would have to park in the street, which had paid parking spaces in front of the hotel and free spaces two blocks up the road. We had to move our car before 9 am to avoid a penalty. We expected a hotel of this quality to have a lounge/bar open to guests, However this closed at 9:30 every night except weekends. On our second night, we decided to dine in the hotel. but were amazed to find there were no kitchen staff and one of the receptionists provided us with microwaved meals. To be fair, they were better than we expected. We booked an accessible room; it had grab rails in the shower and by the handbasin, but none within reach of the toilet. We reported this on our second day morning and by early afternoon, they had fitted one for us. Top marks for speed of service.

Customer service is non existent. Expedia tried to help with the wrong booking by contacting the hotel. But the hotel was so rigid and refused to help. Would never try again this hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Pros: location, superior room size. Cons: Price vs Quality. A/C and heater way too noisy. Check in is late at 4:00pm (and not before, even if you call the day before and ask if possible to check in earlier), check out is at 11:30am (and they make sure to let you know at check in that you must leave the room by 11h30). I think, depending on which day you check in and who is checking you in you will probably have a different experience at thisbhotel. It would need more consistency throughout the property and service standards according to what the end goal of the hotel is (luxury, 4stars, or rather I would say a good 3stars). At the end, we expected a luxury hotel, but it's not.

Quand nous sommes arrivés, la chasse d’eau faisait assez de bruit laissant couler de l’eau. Nous l’avons signalé et nous ont certifié qu’ils allaient s’en occuper, Effectivement après notre sortie, nous sommes revenus et il n’y avait plus de bruit. Mais vers 3h30 du matin, la chasse d’eau s’est mise à faire un bruit énorme comme si un troupeau de rhinocéros allait sortir de la cuvette. Donc ensuite pas très simple pour s’endormir. Au matin, nous le signalons à l’accueil, mais apparemment ils ne semblaient pas très inquiets que des rhinocéros se baladent dans les canalisations,
