"The 'amenities' quoted (spa, fitness centre, etc) were in a separate building across the road and were not included in the price we paid.
We understood that off road parking would be available on site. We were told on arrival that this was not available and we would have to park in the street, which had paid parking spaces in front of the hotel and free spaces two blocks up the road. We had to move our car before 9 am to avoid a penalty.
We expected a hotel of this quality to have a lounge/bar open to guests, However this closed at 9:30 every night except weekends.
On our second night, we decided to dine in the hotel. but were amazed to find there were no kitchen staff and one of the receptionists provided us with microwaved meals. To be fair, they were better than we expected.
We booked an accessible room; it had grab rails in the shower and by the handbasin, but none within reach of the toilet. We reported this on our second day morning and by early afternoon, they had fitted one for us. Top marks for speed of service."
