It was such a lovely and cozy home. I loved that the home owner used the last 4 digits of my phone number as the access code. It was a fantastic location and was 7-10 minutes from every single thing we did in Decorah. My only word of caution is Uber did not seem to work in Decorah and Taxis stop early. Be prepared to drive yourself. The home itself was fantastic and my group of friends and I hope to rent it annually.

Artist Studio Tour

Was a great location to start out daily drives to artists' studios and a wonderful place to land after the day was done. Close to downtown Decorah. Recommend taking time to visit Vesterheim - The National Norwegian-American Museum and dining at Rubaiyat. We think you will enjoy both.

October 2023 Sister Get-Away

This was perfect for us sisters to gather and stay in one place to be able to share stories, laugh, gather around the fire pit and just relax!!! This property was close to everything downtown and walking/hiking trails. Showers were amazing and had a lot of pressure. The only downside for us, was not having curtains/blinds on all the windows downstairs; the grass was pretty long but a minor issue. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place.

This was the perfect place for us and several family members including two small girls for a very special Christmas.
