"Very nice and Clean Apartment, spacious and in beautiful location!"

"Nice new apartment upstairs of the garage. It’s a spacious single room (except the bathroom of course), nicely laid out with pleasant lighting through windows looking out towards the trees. The “kitchen” is minimal: a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, water kettle and coffee maker. Sufficient for our needs but not enough for an extended stay. Given that the rental is a one-room studio with laminate flooring, the pet fee seemed a bit steep, but the apartment itself was a good bargain...

"This property is close to Acadia it was a very easy drive. The hosts were very helpful and kept a free stocked kitchen in the office area, this touch made it feel like you were staying with family or friends. I stayed in room 12 it is very small. Perfect for solo travelers."

"None of us wanted to leave. The Roost will be our first choice whenever we return. Barb and Les made us feel right at home. We had deer and turkey visit the yard and the bird watching from the dock was excellent. I can't find a single thing to improve upon here. "

"This was our second stay, lovely as usual. Beds are extremely worn though and bedding was kind of not very clean feeling...maybe just too outdated. Sad to see the house lost in a fire, but they added a lovely outdoor area with fire pit, grills, and hot tub."

"The apartment is really great and everything is brand new. But the agency forgot to send check in instructions, we called them and were all set. Be aware to get instructions 2 days before or call them. In VRBO the location was directly on the water, in reality not at all. If you want to stay in this area, the location is great but we drove every day to Acadia park or supermarket about 25-30 minutes. Yes, I would recommend this accommodation and would like to stay here again."
