Renovated 1854 Sea Captain's House w/Harbor Views in Deer Isle Village<br>

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (23)
""Pickering House" is a charming, comfortable home in a fabulous location. The house and yard is spacious - with 2 living rooms and a separate family room, a big, very well-equipped kitchen (with seating around a huge island), a fantastic front porch, a back patio with cushioned chairs and picnic tables and Adirondack chairs scattered under shady trees in a garden with fruit trees. It well accommodated our big group of 8 adults and three
dogs
. Although technically not waterfront, we had a view...

Dow Road Waterfront - Privately situated

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (22)
"We needed a wonderful, peaceful vacation, so badly after the last 3 yrs. and this cabin delivered! The wildlife was enchanting and the beach was intriguing. The cabin was comfortable, and if you really require TV, you can stream it on a laptop. It's not a five star hotel or an antique filled B&B, which made it perfect for our pup, who thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there! There is beatiful original artwork on the walls and a refreshing ocean breeze thru the many windows, which themselves,...

Pat's Place - Peacefull & charming cottage

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (21)
"This home is a gem peacefully nestled in Greenlaw Cove. The seclusion made for a relaxing vacation. With no one around, the
dogs
were able to run and play in the yard unleashed. The visit became particularly interesting when a freakish windstorm blew in the Friday before Christmas. The electricity on the island went out for a day or so. Thankfully, the home had a generator. The owners were very responsive to all inquiries and even made a special trip to check on us following the storm. I highly...

Charming restored 1830s cape Deer Isle

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"We really enjoyed our stay in Deer Isle. The house is very nice and comfortable. The location is near a main road and it’s not walkable to anything but the surrounding area on the island is quite spectacular. We especially loved Sand Beach for a cool evening sunset swim. A day trip to Acadia was really nice too. Finding the dishwasher full of dishes and having to unload it upon arrival was a bit of a bummer while on vacation. Otherwise, the place was clean and well appointed."

'Beautiful Secluded Coastal Maine Island cottage Rental' Four Season

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (37)
"I stayed in this sweet little cottage for 8 days with my
dog
, Zion. It is the perfect place for your fur family. Zion realized when I packed up the car that we were leaving. He cried (part Husky) in my ear for an hour to let me know of his displeasure! We took a walk on the property twice a day and he loved it. The cabin fit my needs well. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. I had a friend vacationing in Florida (Tampa Bay area) at the same time and the TV worked well...
