"This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. Our family has 7 adults and 7 children, and the bedrooms were sufficient. The other rooms are spacious and comfortable for a large group. Things are new and attractive. There is a minimal amount of decor in the cottage and empty drawers in the kitchen, which we liked because it left room for our things. We still had everything we needed or managed with what was there. We appreciated the provided towels (including beach towels), linens, paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper. The lake is down a short and easy slope, which all of us, including those in their 70s, could manage, though there is a steeper incline right by the water. There is enough seating inside and outside for 14. The kids enjoyed the pool table in the lower level, the games, and spent hours in the water, using the swim raft as well as the supplied two kayaks, the paddle board, and canoe. We brought a dingy sailboat and the lake was a great size to sail a small boat with enough wind almost every day. Fishing off the dock was fun. The lot is on the SW shore of the lake, so you get only a glimpse of the sunset in mid-summer and not much sun on the beach or dock at all times of the day. We liked being comfortable in the shade and not having to worry about getting too much sun, but it can be cool even with high 70s temperatures. The owner of the cottage is very helpful."

"Pioneer Paradise 2 was a beautiful, relaxing home away from home. The accomadations appeared quite new and were luxurious -even better than expected. We enjoyed the lake view from the deck, watching hummingbirds, bald eagles, and turkeys. Weed free swimming is a short paddle out toward the island. There are so many places to enjoy the beauty of nature around this rental. Our family enjoyed a tour of waterfalls during our stay. We especially enjoyed Bond Falls where we hiked up and around both sides of the falls. O Kun de Kun falls was fun too- longer hike in- about 1.3 miles, but you can hike in behind the falls. We also went to Lake of the Clouds which was beautiful.We enjoyed a short drive to Eagle River to the antique shops, a fun thrift store Pancakes from Heaven, and the Pine and Pour Coffee House. Our only hiccup was upon arrival. It would have been helpful if we had been given a few more instructions: 1. There is not yet an address marker for the house so it was a bit confusing where to turn in. 2. We had a bit of a struggle figuring out which lock the key in the lockbox was for. We would definitely return to this property!"

"We loved the house. There were two families and it had everything we needed for the weekend. The game room was great as an extra space for the kids to hang and play. The location was convenient for driving to multiple towns nearby and the grounds are beautiful. Only note was that the part of the chain we were on was too shallow for docking the boat we rented which led to some issues but other than that, 10/10. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing northwoods weekend."

"Great location on water. Very comfortable accommodations. Great dock. There is a long set of stairs from water to house, but makes for great views. Big deck. Lots of room to spread out. Very close to boat launch. Plenty of parking space. Can be tricky backing up a boat trailer, but it's doable if you take your time."
