"The place was extremely private when we went and weren’t bothered by anyone which was our goal. We used a provided paddle boat and caught several award winning size bass and it took us very little skill. The largest was at sunrise at the dock, believe that or not! The home had great hot water and was a little outdated but absolutely perfect for a cabin getaway. There were a few bugs but hello were in the woods on a lake house on the water. "Quintessential lake vacation. Pools were very nice. Billy- from the beach cabana answered all our questions and had great stories. Beach and docks are accessible and fun. Too windy to use one of the various boats available. Breakfast in the restaurant was tasty with friendly servers. Room in the lodge was basic but nice. Great for families or a get away."
