A cosy and family-friendly beach cottage, approx. 56 square metres in size, with access to the water on three sides on the Great Sea!

You enter the holiday home via the large, partially covered terrace with new furniture and a beautiful view of the garden and the surrounding canals. Inside the house, starting from the small entryway with a coat rack, you’ll find the master bedroom in the annex, featuring a double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m, separate mattresses), a wardrobe, and a TV.
In the main house, you’ll find the living and dining area with a sofa, armchair, TV, dining area, and several built-in closets offering ample storage space.

The kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a refrigerator, a small dishwasher, a stove, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a Senseo pod machine; a separate freezer is located in the storage room outside the house.
The two other bedrooms are each furnished with a single bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m and 0.90 m x 1.90 m, respectively); one of the rooms also has a changing table and a fold-out cot.
The bathroom features a toilet, shower, sink, window, hair dryer, and a top-loading washing machine.

Air conditioning (for heating and cooling) is installed in the living/dining area and in the master bedroom.

All rooms in the house (except for the bathroom) offer great views of the canals! You’ll find some games and books in the house, and the main windows are equipped with fly screens. A high chair is also available in the house free of charge.

The large, elevated wooden deck is furnished and has a patio umbrella; the part of the garden visible from here is fenced in.

Next to the house, you’ll find a lockable storage room with a power outlet for your bicycles. You’ll also find an inflatable SUP here, as well as paddles for the rowing boat, which can be launched directly from the nearby boat ramp. It’s just a few minutes’ paddle in the rowing boat to reach the Great Sea! You also have the option of bringing your own boat, launching it at the nearby boat ramp, and then using the property’s private dock.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome upon prior notice and for a separate fee; smoking is not permitted inside the house.

There is space to park 1–2 cars in front of the property.

A pizzeria is 200 m away; other restaurants, boat rentals, a surf school, a children’s playground, and the beach are approximately 700 m away.

The Große Meer in Südbrookmerland is East Frisia’s largest inland lake and a true hidden gem for anyone seeking peace, nature, and proximity to the water. Surrounded by expansive meadows, small canals, and typical East Frisian countryside, the region offers ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle. Whether it’s leisurely walks along the shore, long bike rides, or water sports like sailing, surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding—the Großes Meer has something for both active holidaymakers and those seeking peace and quiet. Families especially appreciate the shallow shoreline areas and the natural surroundings.
