Excellent hotel

The room was very clean and well kept throughout our stay. The service was exceptional and we were very happy with how we were treated. We were supported in a number of different ways during our stay (we needed to visit the hospital at short notice so we were able to keep luggage back after checkout). Our only comment for feedback was the pool being very cold despite the warm temperature outside - as it is shaded for most of the day, our daughter found it to be too cold to enjoy. Perhaps heating the pool for certain months would ensure that it will be used by more visitors. Otherwise, we would recommend highly.

Very nice hotel with excellent views.

Very nice hotel in a nice location. Stayed for 5 days. Enjoyed our stay. Room was nice , very comfy bed. The bed helped us sleep better after tiring days. Very clean bathroom. House keeping did an amazing job keeping room very clean and welcoming. Views from our room were very beautiful. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant is superb. Breakfasts were simply delicious. The chefs Rana jee and nail were very professional, greeting us personally and making local specialties for us made us very happy. Overall an excellent stay

Excellent hotel

It was our first stay at Fairfield and we would definitely book here again. We decided to try this hotel as it was halfway between Dehradun airport and our home and to help break up a long day trip for our young daughter. The service was outstanding in every aspect - from checking in upstairs to help save time for our very tired toddler to the help they provided when leaving, it all helped to make it a very comfortable and relaxing experience after a long flight. Finally, special mention about the breakfast which had great variety and options for different eating preferences. Our three year old was very happy and that is the best possible praise we can give in that respect!

Worst Room to Hotels.com guests !!!!

Even though I had booked a superior category room with a a valley view, I was given a room looking onto an ugly building. Since it happens every time because I booked on HOTELS.COM. I complained. First response “ Hotel is sold out so we can’t help you “ So I offered to check out immediately with or without a refund! That magically got me a room on a higher floor with a better view. This happens every time!!! Please take it up with Marriot as the rates were the same on their site and at the hotel. So why such pathetic treatment to HOTELS.COM guess???

The stay was wonderful and the staff were amazingly friendly which made our experience even better. Aljeet was amazing along with other members of staff Deepti, Naha & Dharm where complete gems along with some of the other boys assisting where ever needed. There was one isolated incident at the restaurant which was bedded instantly but other then that as mentioned the stay was fine. A couple of points to mention about the facilities. In the rooms there is no menu's for both food and drinks to order for room service. There should be an extra railing to place your hand towel other then the sink top.. Also if im correct there are no toilet rolls in the lavatories leading to the restaurant at level 2 and this would prove useful to international travellers. Overall its a 10/10. Thank you

A good stay !! Service was quite up to the mark !! The most irritating part of the stay was that there are few lights which are focused right onto the building right from third floor ! My room no was 324 ! Urli had specially taken the valley facing room ! To my dismay , moment u lighted the window blinds every evening, there were three huge blinding lights facing our window and the building !! They were disgusting !! When I Brought that to their notice , they said they can’t put them off !! The protocol was to put them off at 10 pm !! The second night the lights were. Till 1 Am !! Totally ridiculous!! In the morning the there were couple of flies and mosquitoes enjoying the fresh fruit platter !! Rest everything was fine !
