We had an amazing stay, would absolutely recommend! Lauren at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and the contactless check in process was very easy. Adorable decor and vibe, the canteen and Lunar Lounge were both lovely. Can’t wait to come back!

The motel is fantastic and very cute. the owner was very nice. She really cares about the town, her staff, her business, and making it a unique experience for her customers. Everything is thoughtful put together. Complimentary coffee is the jolt I need to start my day.

The room was very basic...no closet, no safe, no dresser. But the queen sized bed was comfortable, although it was in a small niche so it was a little hard to get in and out. The air conditioning was almost too good. The remote needed to be pointed directly at the unit or it wouldn't change the temperature. A sign posted about that would have been helpful, as would have an extra blanket. Some of the outlets were not working, but the management fixed the "breaker" once I reported it. She was very attentive, responding quickly to texts. Check-in and out was very easy. There was a breakfast place next store which provided free coffee for guests of the motel and also some basic food for a low cost ,(breakfast burritos, yogurt, etc). Free parking was provided. The location was a couple of blocks from the downtown area and very close the music festival (Rhythms on the Rio) which we were attending. The room price was a little high, but I think that was because of the music festival.

Cute, quaint hotel. Thankful they were pet friendly, but not much area to walk them, so we had to go to the city park. The room was cute, but small. The beds were a touch soft, so if you’re used to a firm mattress, this may not work for you. Loved the option for the online check-in, everything was communicated through texts, which I liked.

This was such a cute property! The community space is adorable and the room was perfect. We loved having a little kitchen and sitting area in the room for our stay. Lauren was so friendly and helpful during our stay as well :) We would love to come back!

Stylish hotel, highly recommended.

At first sight Mellow Moon looks like a standard Motel but nothing could be further from the truth. Our room was really comfortable, spacious and stylishly decorated with everything we could ask for. The owner was very welcoming and gave us some great steers for eating out and sightseeing.Highly recommended.

What a great surprise to find this gem! Historic, Route-66 feel with chic design touches, tucked into a charming little mountain town. Great experience and perfect stop on our way to a wedding in Durango. Highly recommend!
