This is a return trip for us. It is one of my all time favorite places to stay! What a comfortable beautiful and well designed suite. The staff from reception to turn down attention, to the hospitality persons, captains, managers, waiters, etc could not be any better! They are far more than 5 stars! I was so well cared for and wanted for nothing! Excellence beyond words.

Fabulous.

The room was fabulous, one of its kind with a private plunge pool. The stay was comfortable and nice. The staff was very helpful. Check-in was quick and the hotel went out of its way to decorate the room for my birthday. Really grateful for making my stay memorable.

Delhi is a crazy frenetic city. The Lodhi provides a moment of zen and quietness and is the perfect place to unwind and indulge. It’s very private and elegant.

Best leading hotels of the world we’ve stayed in

I’ve stayed in many of the leading hotels around the world but The Lodhi was by far the best, the staff are absolutely amazing, greeting by our names from the moment we arrived by all the staff, the hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful, so manicured and pristine and the food in their main restaurant was outstanding, and the cakes in the hotels bakery were just spectacular. Big thank you to Sanjay & Ratan for keeping our room immaculately clean, supplying fruit, and making sure we had everything we needs at all times, and also to Purushottam who helped us with information and always made a point to come over to ensured we were ok. Now to are room….wow, it was absolutely beautiful, we had a pool room and were upgraded to a higher floor. Everything was tastefully decorated and to a very high standard. If you’re going to Delhi this hotel has to be your first choice, we have been travelling now for 7 weeks and the cleanliness and service we’ve had from other hotels hasn’t even come close to the standard of the Lodhi. It’s definitely up there with one of my favourite hotels.

We got the most satisfactory experience during our stay at this hotel. The staff is amazing. Specially we want to thank our concierge Chirag Singh who made our entire experience in India simply amazing. He was able to accommodate all our requests, provided great guidance, offered much needed suggestions about tourist attractions, he was the most polite, accommodating and professional concierge we’ve ever met. The room was conformable, great bed, wonderful balcony, very quiet, the breakfast was delicious, everything about this hotel was perfect, I highly recommend this place. We even had help at the airport where the hotel employee helped us to find our terminal. Thank you for our wonderful time in Delhi!

This place is incredible. Perhaps the best room we've ever had around the world. The service is spectacular. Anything we needed, a staff member would jump to accommodate us. A special shout-out to Surjeet(?) our driver for the day who took us to the old town and escorted us through the various markets. Thanks for all the support, Surjeet! Ajay also did some driving for us and it was quite an experience to watch a Master at work. Would also like to recognize our concierge Chirag who went above and beyond. I rarely use a concierge but it seemed that on this trip, I was constantly in need of assistance. Chirag was always there to fix the issue. In fact, he continued to assist us even after we left Delhi. Thanks so much! We will only stay at the Lodhi when we are in Delhi.

Downgrading room category without consent

I booked Garden terrace room . Was downgraded to a normal room without garden terrace and was argued by front desk staff who said 6B is a garden terrace room . Just very rude reception staff , have stayed here for many occasions but this is the lowest I experienced

We had an awesome stay at the Lodhi. Check in and check out were seamless. The staff were all so friendly and professional. A special shoutout to the Elan staff, who made our stay so special. They brought out all these extras for us, pastries, fruit, and even miniature versions of Indian dishes on their menu just because we wanted to try them but were too full to order a full plate. They really made an effort to share their culinary culture. Our suite was just as pictured, the balcony and private pool were amazing. The toiletries were top notch. The gym was so well stocked, like a commercial gym with lots of weight and functional equipment. We had an great stay and would stay here next time we are in Delhi! 10/10 for everything!

NEVER GO HERE IN SUMMERS

While the room was great, it was FULL OF MOSQUITOES. I called the pest guy TWICE and the room was full of mosquitoes. I couldn't even use the pool properly. Rs 18k down the drain.
