Serenity
We've stayed at this complex several times and this was our second time at this apartment. We love seeing the Nooksack River from the living room/deck and being able to hike right from the property. The sauna in the community building is fantastic. We also enjoyed exploring dinners in Glacier. A cozy, quiet place that we will look forward to returning to again.

Mountain retreat
Me and my two kids stayed here for one night to ski at Mount Baker for two days. The place was very close to the ski area and chair. Nine restaurant is right across the street perfect location and accommodations for what we needed very comfy and cozy place.

Wonderful getaway
I was very impressed with the whole community! The property I stayed at was very clean and had extra things on hand; in my case a toothbrush which I'd forgotten. I had also forgotten my coffee...I was very pleased they had complimentary coffee. All the amenities were wonderful; like the hot tub and the pool. I even shot a game of pool and worked out in the fitness room. I would like to come back someday with my husband. It was everything I needed. Oh, and the bed, pillows, and comforter were very comfy. Great little condo for a quick getaway to Mt. Baker. Joanne was easy to communicate and the condo was well stocked and clean. Super easy to access, quick check in at Snowater office. Hope to be back again this season!

Super efficient one bedroom! Just the right amount of space for a party of 3. Very clean and comfortable. Unit backs onto beautiful forested area and feels like you're in a tree house. Would definitely book this unit again!

Great condo for Mount Baker Adventures
This is a perfect place to stay for Mount Baker adventures. About as close to the mountain as you can get, super clean and great amenities on site with hot tub, saunas pools and sport courts for either unwinding after a day on the mountain or recreating otherwise. The condo complex is quiet and well managed.

It’s apparent the hosts don’t stay there, 2 adult max, lacking cooking supplies.
It was adequate, clean. Small. Most evident was that it is apparent the hosts don’t spend much time there. Dear Jo/ Jack, spend 2 nights in your property, you’ll probably change some things. Kitchen equipment is lacking. Lighting is glaring and hard to turn them on/off. I made makeshift shades to reduce glare while watching TV… Couch is uncomfortable. Pans and dishes are small, had to serve salad in a pot, and cook one steak at a time… LOL! The best part was the community pool and the fireplace was nice, but there was a sticker telling me about a 25$ fee to relight fire, lol. Mattress was nice though. VRBO itself sent so many spam emails from booking to check in it was hard to find the one email with check in info, that’s why low stars there.

Thank you for your review Alexander. Although we visit the condo frequently, we always invite guests to give us helpful feedback on their stay. As per your comments, we would be happy to include a salad bowl and an extra baking tray for the kitchen. The note on the fireplace is only visible if you look underneath the fire where the pilot light is. When a guest tampers with the pilot light, a contractor has to come out to relight it, which is costly and causes inconvenience for future guests. The thermostat to control the fire is clearly labelled on the wall. This is the first time that we have received a comment about the lights being glaring; however, we do have a lamp in the living area which offers a softer glow when watching TV in the evening. Unfortunately, we have no control over the emails sent out by VRBO; this is something that you can change in your email preferences. However, we do send a copy of the check-in details through VRBO messaging to every guest shortly before their stay to ensure they have them on hand.

Beautiful Location
We had a nice stay and the place was very clean when we arrived. The place was well equipped for our needs: light cooking and hike preparation. The grounds are beautiful and property has the river on three sides with a nice trail to walk on. A couple of items of note, not bad, just to be aware of: - Electric vehicles. They have 2 L2 chargers. They are keyed and if someone has the key, you can't charge even if they are not using it. So make sure you have enough when you get there. - Fragrance sensitivity. The detergent used to clean the towels and sheets has a very strong fragrance that was a bit overwhelming the first night. The scent remained in our clothes after leaving.

Stayed for two nights to do some hiking in the area. Comfortable with nice furniture, quiet spot and a nice little deck for morning coffee. Well equipped kitchen, in-unit laundry was handy. Great stay!

Great facilities, beautiful setting!
The 2 pools on-site are deep and were a big hit with our kids. Hot tubs were nice for us too. Gas grills by the river were very convenient for cooking our meals. This is great location to explore mount Baker and there are several peaceful trails along the valley floor as well. There was even a secluded trail right on the property along the river that we loved!

Lovely getaway
The condo was perfect for us. We used the kitchen often and found everything we needed to cook meals. The boardgames and books were a good selection as well. The view was nice and there was a good amount of natural light since it's a corner unit. All the amenities on the property were great and fun to explore. Owners were a pleasure and replied quickly.

Fantastic getaway
What a treat to be so close to the Mt. Baker ski area where we had a wonderful day in the snow with the sun the whole time! Literally only 25 mins from the condo. The hot tub was a great way to finish the day. On day 2 we enjoyed time in Bellingham less than an hour away, farmers market, yummy lunch, massage and shopping. Lovely peaceful walk on trails here at Snowater. Great time playing darts and ping pong at the clubhouse. Condo was spotless and had everything we needed. Thank you!

Perfect location for access to Mt. Baker and very much appreciated the fireplace. While the photos are technically accurate, the condo is much much more compact than I expected. Works fine for 2 adults, but I can't imagine sharing with anyone else (including children). The primary fixtures (e.g., cabinets, flooring) all seem to be original (old), but clean and relatively well kept. The hosts have done a good job with decorating to help modernize. Could use some non-LED lightbulbs to soften the lighting. Overall a great value, clean, easy, and within walking distance to Chair 9 Pizzeria.

Location of the property was perfect, easy to get up to Baker for snowshoeing/skiing and also to visit some of the restaurants in Glacier. Check in and property instructions were clear and easy to follow and the condo was cozy and perfectly sized for my friend and I for the weekend. Thanks for making the trip easy and fun!

We needed to get out of the city and into nature. Despite the rain there was still plenty to do. The kids loved the pools and rec room. A short drive to Baker and we were playing in the snow on Thanksgiving!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your condo. It was so nice to sit at the table and look out to the forest and the river. The trails around the property are wonderful for walking and lounging by the river is a treat. The condo met all our basic needs. We were particularly happy that we could park right outside the unit and only had a few steps down to the entrance. Unfortunately due to an urgent health care problem we had to leave early. However, the owners were very easy to communicate with about our departure as they had been when arranging the reservation.

Landscaping was beautiful. The condo was very small. The bathroom was impossibly small. The sofa sleeper was covered with stains. We had to descend stairs to enter the condo which was very difficult trying to bring our luggage in.

We enjoyed our time at the property! All was great. It was unexpected to find dirty dishes waiting for us in the dishwasher, unfinished laundry in the dryer, and carpenter ants spotted several times inside. But besides those minor things, it was a very comfortable stay. :)

Great place to explore Mt. Baker.
Visited the area to celebrate New Year with friends (they stayed in another place) and to enjoy the natural winter beauty of Mt. Baker. Liked the apartment's location and the amenities it offered (albeit a bit old and worn down). One thing that could be better is the internet connection as it was slow and erratic. Otherwise I would give this place 5 stars.

Overall fine experience
Overall the owners seemed to really care about our experience and were very kind. The living area is very outdated and a few minor updates would make a big difference. The furniture was not comfortable and for the price I definitely expected better quality. When we arrived there was laundry in the washer and the dryer. The dryer didn’t work properly so it took 3 dry cycles to complete each load and since we didn’t want to use our vacation time folding laundry it sat unfolded on the entryway bench for the duration of our visit. I definitely was impressed with the communication of the property owners and overall we ended up having a warm Place to sleep on our vacation.

Perfect mountain stay!
This place exceeded our expectations! Snowater is located on the Nooksack River with beautiful trails following the river. You can hear the river from your balcony. Everything is very well maintained. The views are spectacular!!! The condo is very comfortable and roomy. The location can’t be beat.

Well laid out condo unit, aesthetic inside and out. We especially enjoyed eating out on the semi-secluded deck. The common picnic area and BBQ was a nice touch. Great surroundings, easy drive to upper river and scenic Mt. Baker areas.
