Peaceful Stay

The location was great. It was quiet and peaceful. The view was great from the second-floor location. Everything we needed was provided. Really liked meeting the Lisa and her dog, they were both wonderful.

a perfect place next to Denali National Park

It is a lovely, exceptionally well equipped and stocked, place. Very clean and comfortable. Lisa is a very responsive and helpful host. And an amazing person too - we were so excited to meet her. Our daughter was most happy to be able to play with her dog and meet a puppy from a nearby kennel. We also attended a dog show there - highly recommend!

Beautiful, airy unit with views out each window. Kitchen, bath, and laundry are beautifully appointed & immaculate. The host has put great care into the space and is a real detail person. Enjoy beautiful Denali at this great property!

A Gem in Denali

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location and views - not far from Denali Park and other excursions such as flight seeing and one of the mushing kennels. Also, the restaurants near by were delicious especially Creekside. The home is set up with all the essentials and then some! Certainly made our vacation one of our favorites. Lisa is super sweet and a great communicator! As my son said this is a 6 out of 5 star!

Most relaxing spot on our vacation! This cabin had everything we needed to relax and regroup after a lot of traveling. Loved the sourdough pancakes! I highly recommend this spot if you are planning to visit Denali national Park!

The rooms were great, and nice gifts as we entered. There were four of us. Our friends got the bedroom and we got the sofa couch. We hardly slept that night as the couch sank in terribly. It would possibly be ok if we were kids, but adults probably need to know ahead of time. If we went with our kids and not adult friends, it would have been more suitable. It was also on second floor and we had a lot of luggage, so we took pieces out to take up with us. It is very close to Danali and we loved that part about it. Also the windows open to the woods and we got a nice breeze that night.

Just perfect!

There is a reason that the reviews here are so positive. The location can’t be beat, the unit is beautiful, well stocked with thoughtful items, and did we mention the amazing view? We have stayed in MANY rental units and this is definitely one of our favorites!

This was the perfect place for our family of four. The owner was very kind and helped with any questions we had about the area. It was hands down the cleanest rental I’ve stayed in in years- or maybe ever. We enjoyed that it was tucked back in a private setting, and gave us more room than a hotel or tiny cabin. Check out McKinley Creekside for breakfast, lunch, dinner and souvenirs. Highly recommend this property.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed with lots of homey touches. Lisa is very friendly and helpful. The view was spectacular. Only thing, if you’re older and have trouble with stairs. Not the place.

We loved everything about this VRBO, especially its location, setting, size and amenities. Very comfy furniture and stocked kitchen. Lisa is so nice and has the cutest dogs. My family of 4 adults stayed in house for 3 nights. It has open floor plan and family room view was spectacular. Location was convenient it just10 min drive to Denali bus depot. A cozy and well maintained house. Lisa was a great host. Definitely, one of the few top houses we have rented so far..

Exquisite Home

We stayed at Alaskan Elegance during our visit to Denali National Park and this place hosted by Lisa is a little piece of heaven. Nestled in the beautiful Alaskan wilderness but this is close to the National Park and all Attractions. The host is amazing and an absolute inspiration whose passion for gardening, interior design, story telling and her love of dogs. Her life story is depicted in her art collection and books she wrote. A true blissful hide away from the busy city life. I would absolutely love to visit this place again. Thank you Lisa for hosting us. We cherished our time there.
