"The house itself was ok. The stairs are very small and tight and very difficult to carry luggage up. The beds were very uncomfortable. The worst thing about it was the fragrances in the house. There were 3 plug in "air fresheners" and 3 of those reed diffusers, all with horrible artificial scents. The entire house was flooded with toxic, chemical fragrance. "Great location to walk round the town with good selection of bars & restaurants. The hotel is beautifully decorated maintaining the historic features of the property. The receptionist was welcoming & so helpful recommending places to see & eat. A lovely stay."
