"Stay away! It was the worst experience of my whole stay in Sri Lanka. I booked that hotel for 1 night. I noticed that they have a policy for late check in (after 9pm) so on the way I tried to contact them because I was afraid if I will be able to get over there on time. Me and my driver called them several times for hours before my arrival without any result. Finally we got over there about 8:30 pm but there was nobody there and all seemed like closed. "Boulder Garden Hotel is the most beautifull hotel I have ever been to. It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much.
