There aren’t many hotels that I make a note to return to, but Kingfisher is definitely one of them. Aside from being a short walk from the beach, the rooms are spectacularly clean and well managed. The staff was very attentive and checked I. On a daily basis. I would highly recommend.

The location was great! the service was good. The owners were very friendly. They made you feel welcome. The room is good. I personally wish that there were a choice on soft or hard pillows. It hurt my neck using their hard pillows. Its a bit pricy for not such a luxurious motel.

Hello and thanks for your review. We wish you would have voiced to us the issue with the pillow as we do have other types and we try to have a softer and harder pillow on each bed, but at times they get mixed around unfortunately. We would've been happy to find one for you though. Regarding the price, we feel we're extremely competitive given our location and the season, especially comparing to some of the surrounding, unrenovated properties. Also, our prices change based on availability so because you booked on shorter notice, for a weekend when we had limited availability, the prices were higher than if you had booked farther in advance. Yeah, go for it.
Nice place, great location a stones throw from beach. Nice little pool to cool off. Rooms clean and in good condition. Good parking right outside your door. Friendly staff. I would recommend to the owners to put a microwave in the rooms and maybe a rough mat for outside each door. Would definitely visit again.

Proprietor was friendly and helpful. Contact free check in process was efficient and appropriate for these times. Also, daily towel and amenity refresh process similarly efficient and contact free. Room was very clean. A bit spare, but had everything you would need including Keurig and small fridge. Great location steps from the beach.

A hidden gem within walking distance to the ocean!
I highly recommend this hotel. The management is so kind and accommodating. The location was perfect for our family. It was literally steps from the ocean. The room was modern and clean. When we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again!

I had a great stay here. The hotel is clean and appears to be recently renovated. The staff was friendly when I had a problem with my TV. It is in a great location being across the street from the beach.

Dennis Port stay
The Kingfisher Hotel was clean & comfortable. Check-in was super easy & was all done over the phone. It is located across the street from the beach and The Pelham Resort Hotel. My husband & I enjoyed a delicious lunch on their open air patio overlooking the ocean!

It was great that we had an ocean view and the room was spacious and clean. The property was a bit scrubby and the landscaping minimal. There were no coffee or tea-making devices; no instructions for the TV; no secondary light for reading in the one chair. The bed and pillows were OK but could have been improved.

Thanks for your review. We removed the coffee makers that we typically have in those rooms this year and we've posted that online as well as in the information email that we sent you 2 weeks prior to your arrival so that shouldn't have been a surprise. The TV does not require instructions, just push the "on" button on the remote. Occasionally, the TV's go through a software update that require an adjustment, which was the case in your situation, but once we know about that, it's easily solved in seconds, like was done when you notified us. Your suggestion about a reading light for the chair is a good one and we will consider that this off-season. Our pillows and mattresses are only used 4 months per year and are only 1-2 years old. While we've tried to obtain items that are universally pleasing to everyone, those are definitely 2 items that can be guest specific and hard to meet every guests preference.

Affordable, clean, room right near beach. Small refrigerator ( usually microwave and coffee pot but not during Covid ). Staff attentive and pleasant. Pool area also neat and clean.
