"Lovely, lovely. The proprietors and cook are friendly and considerate. There are many interesting features in the home, its decor, and the gardens. Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes. The surrounding village, forest, and lakes are beautiful. A magical stay."

"Such a pleasant surprise! Wanted to stay in a smaller town, and Gerswalde is pleasant walkable town, with a historic castle site a few blocks from the hotel. "Es entsprach nicht den Bildern. Nicht bekommen was man gebucht hat. Gebucht wurde Zwei Personen, zwei Nächte mit Frühstück und Flussblick. Was war Zimmer bekommen was an der Hauptstraße war. Sehr laut kein Schlaf. Das Bad war oberflächlich sauber, Toilette schmutzig Toilettenbrille wackelig. Steckdose lose. Zimmer kalt. Heizung funktionierte nicht. Betreiber überfordert.
