Perfect place

Absolutely no complaints. The location is close to everything including the downtown shops and restaurants and an array of fantastic hikes. Our place was the perfect size for us to come back and relax after our many adventures out and about.

Weekend Getaway

My wife and I came here for a quick weekend away and it was a perfect place to stay. Close to down town Golden, a grocery store and other amenities! The place was spotless and had everything plus some. Definitely will stay here again if we ever come back to the area!

I was here for my son's graduation from Mines. This condo was in a safe area, and it was very close to campus, which made things really easy for us all.Condo was clean, and the host had a welcome basket filled with goodies!

Great Weekend in Golden

My son and I spent the weekend in Golden for a college visit. I stumbled upon this beautiful place to stay and It ended up being perfect! The owner is prompt with communicating. We loved the filtered water system, make-up mirror, comfortable bed and the coffee and snacks that were provided. Close to school of Mines for parents like me. I'll definitely stay again.

Great time in Golden!

Jay was very responsive and made our stay very smooth! The unit is extremely nice and was great for 3 of us. Close to some hiking trails and about a 15 min walk to downtown golden. Everything was accurate in the listing and would definitely stay here again if I’m back in Golden! Thanks Jay!

Great Option in Golden, Co

I usually drive thru Golden each year on my way up to the mountains for skiing. It’s a great way to acclimatize for a day.I chose this VRBO based on how it looked and its convenient location. Close to town, groceries and nice places to eat at night.The place was immaculate and the host couldn’t have been more attentive and accommodating. Bathroom was modern and clean, kitchen well kitted out, electronics all worked perfectly, excellent parking and a very comfortable bed. I would recommend this place highly to anyone!

Awesome Getaway!

My husband and I booked a long getaway over the Memorial weekend and couldn’t have been more pleased with the apartment! Perfect location, very clean and ease of communicating with Jay was great. The apartment had everything we needed and then some. Extra nice touches taking it to the next level (coffee/tea, snack basket, extra toiletries basket in case you forgot something and great info on the surrounding area and all it offers). We took the Lariat Loop one day as recommended and it didn’t disappoint! Definitely a must is to take the extra 18 mile drive up to Echo Lake! I would highly recommend booking this wonderful apartment! Thanks Jay for an awesome getaway!! Brian and Michele

The best!

This was the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in. The apartment has every feature imaginable…water filter, amazing snacks, games, local information, bathroom light up mirror! It’s the small things that mean so much. Jay p. was super helpful and I like that the check in time was 2pm So close to red rocks! I would definitely stay here again

An absolute gem in Golden!

My husband and I have stayed in multiple hosted locations across the world and both remarked that we have never stayed in one as well appointed as Jay and Susan’s place - they have thought of literally everything! The apartment was spotless and stocked with snacks and everything we needed in the kitchen! A quick trip to historic downtown Golden as well as Denver and Boulder (and everything in between and beyond!). Quiet location, close to grocery and dining. Fabulous place - we would absolutely stay here again!!

Wonderful Weekend

Thank you for making this trip super easy and enjoyable! I appreciated all the thoughtful extras - from toiletries, snacks and breakfast items, to brochures of helpful info on Golden and surrounding areas. The bed was really comfortable and the building was quiet; I slept soundly each night. Also, Jay responded promptly to my questions and was very helpful before, during and after checkout. Great apartment. VERY clean. Owner communication was perfect. Lots of nice touches such as snack bars, coffee, yoga mats, etc. Kitchen is very well stocked. Sleeps 4 comfortably with large pull out couch. Fast wifi. Also great that there is a natural grocery store right across the street. Already booked this again for my next trip!

This property was absolutely amazing! Need to be more than 5 stars! Our host was absolutely oustanding with communication immediately after boooking. His instructions were amazing. The property was exceptionally clean. All the amenities you could ask for was here. Our host Jay communicated exceptional during our stay with recommendations with local amenities. My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary and upon our arrival we had a gift basket! Highly recommend staying here if coming to Golden! We will be staying here again!

Exceptional Stay in Golden

Our trip was a combination of business in Denver and leisure, and the city of Golden proved to be the ideal base for both. The light rail into Denver was incredibly convenient—just a short distance from the property and easy to navigate.As for the accommodations, the Golden Foothills Suite exceeded our expectations. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the emphasis on sustainability and stewardship to the small travel essentials you might forget to pack—everything was taken care of.The building is quiet, impeccably maintained, and each time we returned, it truly felt like coming home.Jay is a wonderfully attentive host, responding promptly to any questions we had before and during our stay. Even before we arrived, Jay kindly offered to take us hiking—and of course, we said yes! He and Susan guided us through a scenic hike in Apex Park, pointing out local birds, native plants, and stunning geological features along the way.All in all, this was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in—highly recommended!

Great place!

I have stayed at my fair share of vacation rental properties and I've gotta say this one is at the TOP. Amenities were exactly as listed. Everything in the apartment was top-notch; clean, great quality, comfortable. Jay, the host, was friendly and very helpful. We were basically snowed-in and didn't get out to our concert, but we weren't too upset about it. Jay even offered us extra time to check out in case the snow impeded our departure. This property is top on our list for a return visit.

Beyond Our Expectations

My husband and I enjoy traveling and have stayed in rental homes around the world. Jay goes above and beyond! The condo furnishings are new and comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean! Cleanliness is one of the big things I look for and this place was VERY clean. The condo had everything we needed for the week and Jay’s hospitality went above and beyond. He left a breakfast bar with assorted fruits and cereals, coffee and tea and snacks. We only needed to contact him once and he responded immediately to assist us. I highly recommend staying at Jay’s place.
