Absolutely Perfect Getaway
This property is probably the best I have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. Janelle was a super kind and helpful host. Communication was great. The area was quiet and peaceful, but still close to plenty of activities. There was great Internet access and tons of movies to choose from. Janelle even made sure to schedule snow so that we Southerners could sled and have a snowball fight. ;) I can't think of a single negative thing. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house!
The house is just as described in all the other reviews. I was amazed at this as that’s not usually the case. Janelle is wonderful and very accommodating. The location of the property is in the mountains. We saw a herd of deer come through the back yard every day. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect Christmas Getaway
What a beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Our host Janelle could not have been more welcoming and accommodating, and had decorated the whole house for Christmas before our arrival. We had a wonderful white Christmas and highly recommend this lovely spot and gracious host.

Texans Escaping the Heat in Lovely Colorado
The Deck/location/view is exceptional. We spent our mornings loving the valley bathed in sunlight - cool some mornings - but always beautiful. The evenings we spent from 'happy hour' through dinner & after...watching sunsets & the beautiful starry night. The horse shoe / bocci ball courts were fun for all. Janelle was extremely responsive. The kitchen really is a gourmet kitchen! All bedrooms were comfy and well appointed - slept like a dream. Hiking directly behind the property - went up to 8000 ft elevation for lovely views.

Perfect Stay!
We were in the area for a few concerts at Red Rocks. Janelle and the house couldn't have been better! We wanted a little bit of the mountain flavor but yet be close to the venue :). Great views, house well stocked. Beautiful hiking trails right behind the house. Thanks for being such a great host.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. The location was fabulous for hiking and exploring the foothills - Evergreen, Red Rocks, Tiny Town are all extremely close by. Communication with the manager was also extremely easy and quick.

Amazing home!!

Echoing some of the previous comments, this is the clearly the best rental house that we have ever stayed in. Thank you Janelle for being a great host. Impeccably clean….. and as others have mentioned, the kitchen was stocked with every imaginable tool, pots and pans…..etc. The wood pellet stove was perfect for the cold winter mornings and evenings…and having miles of basically deserted hiking trails in your backyard, it doesn’t get any better than this.

AWESOME!
Janelle greeted us with open arms made us feel right at home and welcomed and very informative about everything in the house her son was very helpful as well. The home was fully stocked with everything you can imagine with top notch appliances. The Mountain View’s from the dining room and living room were breathtaking and the wildlife right in the backyard and the front was awesome. Sleeping accommodations nice size rooms and the beds made you sleep like a baby it was hard to have to get out of them in the morning. I could probably write a book on how pleased we all were it made our family Christmas get together a very special one filled with lots of great memories that we will never forget. Special thanks again to Janelle and her son for sharing this property with us. If we have the chance we would go back there again in a heartbeat. 🤗

Best VRBO!
This is the best rental house have ever stayed in. The listing does not do it justice! The art in the home is amazing. Kitchen is VERY well stocked with any cooking tools you need. The host was awesome in her communication with me. She shared information about the owner and family and we really enjoyed learning some of the family's history. The house was very clean and the housekeeper even irons the sheets! We enjoyed spotting deer, elk, and a fox in the area. Peaceful location that is just 15 minutes from the town of Morrison or grocery stores in Conifer.

Great stay
We stayed for a long weekend so we could visit family. We flew in from Cleveland. Everything was outstanding. Very clean, furnished, and organized. We felt at home. Great views, easy hiking trails just out the back door, and we were visited by deer and a fox. Super quiet location, and a nice gravel road to walk to enjoy the fresh crisp air. A perfect place for what we wanted to do.

We rented this beautiful property because it was close to Red Rocks and we were coming to Colorado for a concert and to visit family. Beautiful Valley House
This is a great house to spend time outside and enjoy the views of the beautiful valley. There are two decks, a bocce ball court and horseshoe pit. We were happy to see the wildlife around the property and loved the deer that come out at dusk from the forest above. Janelle is a lovely host was very helpful with directions, market suggestions, and suggestions for enjoying the area. My group of 5 adults had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views in the ample outside seating and the well appointed kitchen made it easy to cook meals (with plenty of wine glasses and dinnerware for a big group). The house is decorated with fun and unique art pieces throughout and the great room had plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out and watch a movie. We enjoyed our stay in this house in the beautiful valley!

Fun Time in Colorado
This VRBO was PERFECT for our stay in Colorado and the Jackson Brown Concert at the Red Rocks. The VRBO was 15-20 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater. So the location was perfect. The setting was stunningly beautiful - decks on both the front and back of the house. The interior was beautiful, artwork fun & so interesting to enhance the interior. The kitchen was fully stocked with every dish, utensil, pan or baking dish that you could ever need. Lastly, the owner provided excellent communication and was so friendly & responsive. Would most definitely recommend this for your Colorado get away!

Great Location for Red Rocks!
This is a great property for exploring the Morrison area along with easy in an out access to a Red Rocks concert. Our host was extremely responsive to our pre and trip related questions. I would recommend this property to my friends.

Great for a family gathering
This was a perfect fit for 6 adults and one child plus two dogs. There was plenty of space for everyone with a huge kitchen with enough room for multiple chefs and a complete set of kitchen tools. We had a wonderful time relaxing and visiting in the peaceful mountain valley and enjoyed the easy access to Denver for all of the wedding festivities.

Such a lovely property, inside and out. Sit on the front porch and listen to the tinkle of the goat bells, then move to the back porch and listen to the trickle of the koi pond. Go for a hike up the trail behind the house, then come home, cook a gourmet meal in the incredibly well-stocked kitchen, and serve it on beautiful handmade tableware. Everything you could wish for in a home away from home.

We really enjoyed our time at this location - stunning views every day, excellent kitchen and Traeger grill for cooking meals, and very comfortable spaces to relax. We took in some daily hikes right by the property with our dog. Our adventures included the Coors factory tour, Red Rocks, and Lookout Mountain - all easy drives and within 20 minutes. Fabulous grocery and liquor store 16 minutes away. Outstanding internet access which was critical for our four kiddos. Very easy and responsive communication with the host - we loved our stay!

Spectacular Mountain Home
This home is everything and more! We spent five nights here over a long weekend as we were in town for a concert to see The Avett Brothers at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The location of the home was perfect for launching to many destinations in the area. We were only 15 minutes from Red Rocks which makes this home perfect for attending a concert. It was also convenient to explore other destinations. We headed out on daily excursions to the Rocky Mountain National Forest above Estes Park as well as the surrounding areas of Golden, Boulder, Nederland and Evergreen. The home itself has everything you could possibly ever need! I don’t think the pictures do it justice! We especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen is and the spacious family room/dining/kitchen was perfect for our group to enjoy. Very comfortable, clean and views are spectacular! We even had up close and personal visits with some wildlife—deer & elk! We would definitely return!!

Well-appointed and well-equipped property. It handled five of us very comfortably. Loved having the laundry. Great hiking behind the house and great access to other activities nearby including grocery shopping so you can do a lot of your own food preparation.

Perfect wedding weekend
Myself (the bride), my dog, and part of the bridal party stayed here for the wedding weekend. It was the perfect spot for our wedding at the Evergreen Lake House. We were able to hike on the nearby trails in the morning and get to evergreen easily for other activities throughout the day. Janelle was an amazing host and was able to answer every question we had!

Gorgeous Vacation Valley Vistas
My family gathered here for my daughter's graduation from CU Anschutz. We had a marvelous time! Gorgeous property with views of the valley. We saw elk, played bocce ball, fed the koi, watched the poppies burst open, waved at the deer, and generally had a very relaxing time with family. Our host was so great! Wonderful 5 days to spend with the family from around the country in this lovely home. Everything that you would expect and need was provided. Great space for the entire family. Amazing location, interior art, and wildlife!
Stayed here due to proximity to red rocks and fell in love with the interior decorating and mule deer that came each morning and evening to drink out of the koi pond. Great and communicative owners. Loved grilling on the traeger grill. Will stay here again!

Convenient and very relaxing location
The house was amazing - and Janelle was the hostess with the mostess! I was lucky to meet her and felt like she was family! I love to cook and I've never stayed in a house with the amount of amazing things that a cook would love. The linens are amazing! The view was amazing! The hiking right out your backdoor was so convenient. And the art in the house was beautiful and inspiring. I couldn't ask for more and would love to come visit again!

Such a beautiful, clean home to spend a little time in! Our 3 couples had a wonderful time here and appreciated all the room we had! Enjoyed the great views from the deck and all the wildlife to see! We absolutely loved it. Can't wait to go back. Perfect location and the view was breathtaking. We were there to climb Quandary Pk and see the Black Crowes at Red Rocks so all the cool Crow/Raven artwork and accent pieces were so fitting, plus the murder of crows that greeted us when we arrived was awesome too.

Great house with beautiful views.
As a group of three couples, we really enjoyed the house. It is in a scenic, quiet and off the beaten path area. Great communication throughout the stay from Janelle. Huge decks front and back with great views. There is a new Traeger grill on the back patio. The kitchen is very large with tons of room for entertaining.

Just about perfect.
Can’t say enough about this lovely property or our wonderful host, Janelle. We went for a concert at Red Rocks and then a little R&R and this home didn’t disappoint. The home (notice I don’t call it a house) is immaculate and beautifully appointed, the views are incredible, and the peace and quiet… our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy even more of it. And bring the family chef - they’ll love the kitchen…

We were going to a concert at Red Rocks so we booked this property and it did not disappoint. Beautiful property! It is not close to the actual concert venue, though, but a $25 Lyft did the trick. Highly recommend this property.

Roomy house with a beautiful view.
This house was the perfect fit for our family. Our stay in Colorado was for our daughter's wedding and this location was very convenient to the venue in the Genesee area. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and decks for dinning. The kitchen was fantastic and extremely roomy & stocked with all the essentials. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The host, Janelle, lives next door and was readily available if we had any questions. Our whole family gives this house 5 stars.

What a fantastic property!
Our family loved staying in this house. The kids LOVED playing on the piano, feeding the fish, climbing on the rocks, and running around in the yard. The corner bedroom had a very nice mattress and I really appreciated having evaporative coolers to get it nice and chilly at night.
