Stayed two nights - total of 6 adults - property was very clean and well maintained - owner very easy to work with and very responsive - road to property is unpaved but well maintained - would stay there again
For peace and tranquility, this amazing home is your place! Easy to get to and close to major roadways, this was a prefect place to stay for our trip. The house was super clean and there was top notch instructions and communication from the owners.
We really enjoyed every part of this incredible property. It was secluded on the mountain with beautiful views. Yet accessible to get down into town. We came in for a college reunion, and the triple bypass bike ride. We enjoyed every bit. The property manager was very responsive, and the place was immaculately clean.
Fantastic home! Everything was as advertised and expected. No surprises. The owners were very communicative and available for questions .
I highly recommend this property for its scenic beauty and comfortable surroundings.
We had a wonderful stay. The house has amazing views and is so well-stocked with the essentials. Our host was immediately responsive with any questions we had. Though it’s a little remote, that is exactly what we needed for a few days of true relaxation and serenity. Wish we were still there!
Our stay was great! Everything we needed was right in house. Tons of space for everyone as well. Really big fans of the porch and hot tub. We had 8 people stay and the accommodations for such was great. It does get a little warm during the day which was our only downside, but otherwise a fantastic cabin
Will stay again when we return!
Perfect place to spend our Red Rocks Labor Day Weekend. Excellent location in close proximity to Red Rocks Amphitheater, Idaho Springs, and Golden. Following our concert, it was wonderful to head west when the majority of the traffic was headed in a very long line back toward Denver. This home is beautiful and has amazing views. It’s so quiet- exactly what we were looking for. We loved spending our mornings and evenings on the deck. Did I mention the stars? You can see them in all of their glory here. The home is well outfitted with everything you need. This is the perfect place to spend a Red Rocks weekend and we look forward to coming back very soon.
Gorgeous views! Perfect for our mountain family retreat! Property exactly as listed! No issues/concerns. Very clean. Conformable beds and nice linens. A few extras in the pantry! Very nice! Would highly recommend!
This home is beautiful, spacious, and well maintained. VRBO description said it was 5 miles from Black Hawk which was more like 20 miles and quite a drive. We did not realize this until after we booked it. Also, kitchen was well stocked, but failed to have coffee filters and you're at least 15 minutes from a store. Hot tub was very relaxing, but in a strange location behind the house and not off of a deck so you had a little walk in the snow to get to it. Beds were super comfy! If you want a secluded get away this is it! Just plan ahead and be sure you have what you need.
We loved the place! The cabin was super clean. The views of the mountains were amazing, and it had all the amenities we needed. The sunrises were worth waking up for. All photos are view from cabin.
Was in town for a Red Rocks show. Beautiful house stocked with everything you need nestled in the mountain. Very peaceful and great wildlife watching - we saw crows, hummingbirds, & deer every day. The drive up is a little unnerving the first time but overall safe. Go slow and recommend a bigger car for the dirt road. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, tubberware, etc for cooking and grilling. This is pretty far from town and Denver but a nice get away. There is major construction happening on the highway to get in and out during specific times and days of the week - so may be smart to look into how that could impact your plans.
This cabin was absolutely beautiful and pristine. The views were great, beds were comfy, well stocked and it was super clean. We didn’t want to leave!I only have two complaints. One is the lack of fans and air flow. We knew it did not have AC but expected more than two ceiling fans. Luckily we were there when it was a bit cooler. Second is the placement of the security cameras. One is located above where you would sit outside on the patio and it recorded the entire time as the blue light was always on. The other camera is above the exterior bedroom window. When you open it, the motion light turns on and the camera records. This felt slightly invasive since it’s a must to sleep with the windows open. I would stay her again as the pros outweigh the cons. It is truly a beautiful place to stay!
