Newly renovated private downstairs cottage

Our downstairs apartment with a private entrance offers all the comforts of home in a newly remodeled and fully furnished space. Relax on the recliner sofas and watch a movie, or get some work done with scenic views of the open space and mountains. Sleep comfortably on our memory foam mattresses and wake up to a variety of hot drink options at the coffee bar or cook a meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. Within minutes of parks, trails, outlet shopping, dining, & Castle Rock Adventist Hospital.

Spacious open floor plan with convenience and comfort in mind. Fully equipped kitchen, coffee/tea bar, and large dining table. Comfortable recliner couches with cup holders, charging ports and a large screen smart tv. Bring your streaming passwords or use our guest account. Virtual Reality gaming area with an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset. Dedicated work space with docking station, monitor, mouse and keyboard, ethernet port and scenic views. Full sized washer/dryer tower. Spacious king bedroom, and a cozy queen bedroom, each with a smart tv and an adjustable heater. WIFI available throughout the unit for streaming and scrolling. Exclusive use of the outdoor covered patio with BBQ grill, comfortable rocking couches and chairs, propane firepit coffee table, and unique bird and squirrel feeding tree art. Occasionally we are visited by deer, fox, coyote and other wild life.
**Our house has been converted into two different units, with your private guest apartment downstairs and the hosts on the main floors. Your private entrance is located through the gated backyard. The lit pathway from the front yard does have a relatively steep grade to it, but no stairs. Persons with mobility concerns should inquire further prior to booking.** The deck above the guest patio is for the hosts use.

Simply amazing!

Pictures simply do not do this place justice. Clean & incredibly comfortable. All of the little extras (snacks, an abundance of bathroom products, VR, coffee bar, fire pit) made this such a wonderful stay. Excellent communication and care from hosts! We would absolutely come back if we are in the area again.

A welcoming, pristine and well thought out downstairs abode! The hosts have thought of everything to make one's stay cozy, luxurious and fun. Every thoughtful detail you can imagine has been provided. The beds and TVs and couches are so comfy and first rate. Plus the view outside is a bucolic delight. Although this is a VRBO in the hosts home, our stay felt very private and quiet. We wished we had a longer stay just to enjoy feeling at home in this special place.

Amazing property!

Matt and Ryan are amazing hosts with an amazing property! The place was super clean and filled with little details that made our stay that much better. The view out of the cottage is gorgeous as well. We'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to stay with all the creature comforts you could look for in Castle Rock!

Amazing place

Where to start… it had everything and anything you could possibly need especially if you fly into the area as we did. The place was super clean and stocked with all kinds of fun games, movies etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Best rental house ever!

This home was amazing. It was beyond well stocked and very clean. The Mountain View’s from the backyard were gorgeous and the bird feeders in the backyard added an extra nice touch. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Relaxation at every turn

Owners have done an amazing job at making this VRBO comfort friendly. So many "extra" amenities that made us feel special. Outlined information on everything you could need! The view from that patio is amazing and so relaxing. We will definitely plan to stay here again when back to visit our daughters family!

FABULOUS STAY!!!

Matt and Ryan are amazing! They’ve thought of everything, and it was THE PERFECT weekend getaway with my adult kiddos. Games, VR, s’mores fully stocked kitchen! We were only going to stay one night, but my kids wanted to stay another night, and Matt and Ryan were extremely accommodating. When driving up to the house, you’d never know you were about to stay in your own little private oasis. I’ve always been a little hesitant to stay in a shared space, but this doesn’t feel shared at all! I hope we were kind enough that they’ll let us stay here again!!!1 million stars!!!

Perfect Stay

I don't think anywhere I have ever stayed has been so well prepared for guests. The hosts really thought of everything. The view from the patio is beautiful and the location was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. It was our first time in CO and we had a great base to go to Boulder, Denver, Golden, etc. Check in was simple and everything was as described. Thank you.

Really lovely space

This was a beautiful property. It's very well-decorated with so many extras, I felt like I could live here! The view from the back deck is stunning. It wasn't clear that it was in a residential neighborhood, but that wasn't a problem at all. The space is very well appointed with nice linens and morning coffee supplies. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic hospitality, wonderful property

This is one of the most thoughtful places I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts have clearly thought about what is needed to make a vacation comfortable and pleasant and they’ve done all of it. From hotel-sized toiletries and a fully stocked keurig to ample drawer and closet space with lots of electrical outlets in the bedroom. We only stayed for two nights but would gladly stay longer and likely will on our next trip to Colorado. I almost forgot to mention the comfortable outdoor space with gorgeous view and lots of bird feeders for some relaxing bird watching. Great place!

This property was everything I was looking for. It was on the edge of a residential neighborhood with a nice view and quiet relaxing atmosphere. It was super clean and exceptionally well stocked with all the home supplies and amenities you could want. I'm very pleased to have found this rental!

Awesome in Castle Rock, Colorado

Amazingly clean, and organized, everything you could think of was available. Property manager was polite, respectful and helpful. The location was within 2hrs of everything we wanted to do in the area, Pikes Peak, Garden of The Gods, National Forests, Colorado historic towns, hiking and much more. The stay was very comfortable and pleasant, thank you to our hosts.

Incredible!

This is probably one of the best VRBO's I've ever stayed in. Not only was the location perfect for us, the views were stunning. The place was stocked with everything we might need. The owners thought of everything with hygiene travel supplies, bathrobes, a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. During our stay there was an out of nowhere snow storm with around 14+ inches over the course of 4 days. They kept the driveway and walkways salted and clear everytime we needed to come and go. One bonus that I appreciated was the incredible bird sanctuary they had right outside our windows. It was a truly wonderful stay and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone!

The Meadow

The property was exactly as described. I hoped to have a quiet and restful vacation, and I had exactly that. The view out the back windows (which were as clean as a whistle) of an open field, was home to wildlife. Saturday morning as the snow came down, deer nestled in the trees and birds came onto the patio to find seeds. The fireplace made the room comfortable and cozy. The property couldn't have been cleaner or more well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with high quality pots and pans, beautiful glassware and flatware, and all the cooking spices you could want. The bed was comfortable with a quality a mattress and pillows.

Such a wonderful stay

What I love most is the view of the backyard and it is exactly like the picture of the property. I had breakfast every morning in the backyard during my stay. Ryan had prepared everything we need in the property including female hygiene items. We didn’t try the VR as both of us wear glasses but isn’t it cool to have VR set up? The beds are comfortable too. There are enough bath robes and beddings in the closet. The extra blankets inside the coffee table keep me warm when sitting in the backyard!

Best vrbo house ever

We have stayed at many VRBOs and this one by far was the best. They not only stocked the kitchen with bare essentials but have it fully stocked with everything you need to cook a big meal. It was extremely clean and updated. The owners were attentive and went out of their way to meet our needs. They do extra special things like having robes for the guests, slippers, and a bowl of chocolates. They stocked the refrigerator and cabinets with extras like spices, water, and multiple types of coffee, creamer, and sugar. Definitely would stay there again and if there was a rating higher than five they would get the top rating.

Excellent place to stay

This is one of the best properties we've stayed at. The hosts went above and beyond to make it a pleasure. The basement walkout apartment was clean, comfortable, and had an outstanding view of the mountains. The outdoor space was relaxing, private, and comfortable. Inside, there was a bowl of chocolate bars/M&Ms on the coffee table, a good selection of K-cup coffees, plenty of various types of tea, and even a new bottle of half-and-half in the fridge. There were plenty of towels and toiletries, from shampoo/conditioner and body washes to soaps and even feminine products. There was also a nicely stocked first aid kit. Perhaps best of all is their policy of not requiring a lot of work in order to check out--no stripping the beds or even washing the dishes. It made the often frantic morning of the flight home a breeze. The owners have a gift for hospitality and have done just about everything we could imagine to make our stay a delight.
