Clean and cozy. The house was centrally located in a nice neighborhood close to access in the heart of the city. I would go back to Des Moines just to stay in this house. The neighborhood is quiet. The backyard is peaceful. The city is beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable. I have never stayed in a cleaner or more peaceful VRBO. The host was AMAZING! If VRBO used this property as a guideline for listings, it would be doing us all a great service.

Quiet, comfy spot

We came to Des Moines for a concert. Was so nice to drive a few minutes to a nice clean, quiet, spacious house to relax and spend the night. We would stay here again.

Great location, Great house!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The entire house had great personal touches throughout, the kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and the host made sure we felt comfortable with everything. The home is centrally located, and is a short, convenient drive to anything that you need. Highly recommend!

Perfect house for friends

We had a group of five adults, everyone was completely comfortable in any room they had. The owners are great and very helpful. We would recommend this beautiful house to anyone. I will miss my morning coffee on the back deck.

Everything we needed

As a family of 5, we don’t typically fit in the average hotel room. This house had plenty of space so we weren’t on top of each other. We were just passing through on a 2 day road trip. The beds were super comfy and location was great. Not too far from the interstate and right down the road from the airport (if you were flying).

Will Stay Again

We are a family of 6 and needed a place to stay while visiting family. Our kids are older, ages 20 - 23, so I like them to have their own space when we travel. The accommodations were everything we needed for this trip, having access to a washer and dryer would be nice for longer trips though. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice.Contact with the home owner was very easy and pleasant. Scott was very gracious and replied to my messages quickly.We also loved the location! We’d like to stay here in the summer and take advantage of the lake and activities that are close by.

Absolutely Amazing

This house was absolutely amazing. This house was a very nice, up to date, spacious home. The pictures do not do this justice. The owner Scott was very helpful with anything we needed and answered any questions that I had. Another positive about this house was location. Very close to restaurants and other available activities. This is a house we will definitely try to visit when we come back to Des Moines.

DSM 2023

In town for 2 family reunions. Great location from airport. This helped immensely with flight delays. House was just as pictured. Clean, comfy, cozy. Everything was up to date, new and did I say Clean?? Our host was welcoming and extremely helpful the duration of our stay. Will definitely look for his place for our next DSM visit.
