"Stayed for 1 week, using this lodging for daily road and trail runs. Situated higher up mountainside from Deshaies, at about 250meterabove sea level, allowing for cooler temps than a seaside accommodation. Car needed. Great beaches 5-10minutes away by car. "This house has 2 separate units - 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen on 1st floor and 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and living area/kitchen on 2nd floor. It is a great set up for 2 families or a large group. Kitchen were well stocked; upstairs sitting area is lovely and breezy. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach at the Fort Royal resort. The beach was great for swimming and very pretty. No one seemed to care that we were not staying there. We do not speak very good French and our host did not speak English. It...
