"The property is beautiful and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and works hard to please. Our room was clean and nicely furnished with a large bathroom and modern fixtures. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed watching them change as the sun set into night. We had a couple steaks with different side dishes and everything was fresh and flavorful. We chose to tip the kitchen staff to prepare our food for us but the option to cook yourself is available. It was a great, relaxing, pampered experience. Gracias!! We plan to return regularly. 😎🇩🇴🙏"

"While the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the property itself is in a state of disrepair. The bathroom had significant mold and the windows do not seal tightly which allowed mosquitos to enter at will. Additionally, there were more than one cockroach noted on the property. The pool is adequate for a property of this size. The food at the restaurant is included in the price, which was great - but menu options are limited, and the flavor is quite basic. The telephone listed for the property was NEVER answered, and I tried calling before arrival and multiple times during the stay. There is supposed to be a person on duty to open the parking lot if you return after hours, but most times he was asleep and it was necessary to drive to front of property and ring the on call front desk person to then have them contact the person in the back to open the parking lot. The property does give all guests ear plugs which is necessary given that there is a club/discoteque next door with music that vibrates the building until after midnight. The air conditioner would only work on one setting and the temperature could not be adjusted. "

"We stayed here for one night while looking for an affordable option, and overall it was a decent choice for the price. The room was spacious, which we appreciated, though it did feel a bit dated. We did run into an issue with our first room, but the staff quickly switched us, which we were thankful for. That said, the property could use some TLC. The door lock was somewhat broken, and the cleanliness could have been better. Since my husband is a local resident, we didnt have much expectations. Still, for the price we paid, it offered good value overall. Staff don't speak English!"
