"We stayed a week at Casa Luz and enjoyed it to the fullest! The first morning we awoke to a troop of squirrel monkeys, some with babies, on the deck. Their antics were delightful even when one took a dip in the swimming pool. We enjoyed bird watching, seeing toucans, scarlet macaws and many other beautiful birds. The iguanas visited us daily and the butterflies we saw were exquisite. My entire family agreed this was the perfect choice to enjoy the beauty and wildlife that Costa Rica has...

"Our group of 13 adults and teenagers was comfortable in the house and really enjoyed relaxing and hanging out in the outdoor area for coffee in the morning and pool time in the evening. "Stayed with family for 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. Property is very isolated and in the thick of the rainforest which is just what we were looking for. Wake up to birds chirping and the distant sound of the river flowing nearby. Deborah/owner was awesome and so was Jose. Would love to come back some day."

"Everything about our stay was excellent! The rooms were nice and clean, the grounds were beautiful and well kept, the food at the restaurant was very good, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception staff helped us arrange tours and transportation, and gave us several good recommendations for places to see and eat. We would definitely stay here again."
