"We had a lovely few days at The Boat House. Interesting, well converted property that was well equipped with beautiful views across the fields (deer occasionally wandered through). Very quiet and peaceful in the charming village of Itchenor -ideal for coastal walks locally or to other interesting places -The Witterings, Chichester etc. Buddy, our cockapoo enjoyed his stay too! "It was a beautifully styled house, perfectly suited to our group stay (3 couples) and we loved our stay there. It was walkable to the fab beach and a decent pub. "It was a blessing to stay for one night, and experience the personalised hospitality and generosity of spirit we encountered. The Beach House was on our ‘wish list’ and it was available - serendipitously. We noted and relished attentive interior decor, effective functionality that has been designed clearly from a guest’s perspective, and scrumptious food and refreshments. Familiar with West Wittering and neighbouring villages, the location was spot on for all we enjoy. We will endeavour to book another stay in the future, with trust and eagerness."

"If you are looking for something a bit different for a special stay this place ticks all the boxes. A very peaceful location. The Old Station and carriages are maintained to a very high standard. The staff were very responsive to any requests. We had a lovely breakfast sitting under sun shades on the platform, as the weather was very warm. The carriages were cool despite it being 36° as shutters could be closed over the windows. Very comfortable bed."
