"So much room to spread out, both inside and outside this manoir, lofty ceilings, huge fireplaces, history abounds at Quatre Vents. The pool is magnificent and clean, the bar and pizza oven are great fun and perfect for entertaining on the long hot evenings in this part of the world, fresh figs from the garden etc… Thank you for a perfect stay."

"Séjour agréable, la résidence de plein air est agréable et bien entretenue. En revanche, on a eu beaucoup de difficultés à les joindre car il s'est avéré que leur box était HS, pas possibilités de faire les CB, (caution et paiement), et on n'a pas pu du tout joindre l'établissement pour préparer notre arrivée, et cela nous a valu des sueurs froides, car on ne savait pas comment récupérer les clefs -, sachant que c'était un dimanche . On a dû changer notre agenda, pour arriver pendant les heures...

"Week end d’anniversaire surprise pour ma maman. Nous étions huit et avons passé un excellent moment dans cette location. Quelques balades, des bons repas à profiter au soleil sur la terrasse, des jeux de sociétés à l’intérieur lorsqu’il pleuvait… beaucoup de place dans cette grande maison idéale pour ce genre d’événement!! Hôte très accueillante, sympathique et disponible."

"The area was a little remote, but the house was exactly as described and plenty big enough for 3 family groups with a wide range in children’s ages. The outside areas worked brilliantly well, plenty of shade or sun as required. The area was really peaceful and we had deer wandering around the area. The property owner was really helpful with all our questions and responded really quickly. If I’m being picky due to the heatwave we would have appreciated. Air con in the downstairs bedrooms....

"We thoroughly recommend La Taillade, having just spent a most enjoyable fortnight there. The house is very handsome, offering complete rural privacy at the end of a driveway through sunflower fields. The views beyond the house over the valley below are gorgeous. Both kids and adults happily hung out in the lovely saltwater pool and the hot tub, where the terraces have been generously equipped for lounging in comfort. "Beau village, maison atypique moyennageuse 5 très grandes chambres avec grande hauteur sous plafond (nous étions 20 dont 2 ados et 2 enfant et ça aurait été bien qu'une chambre soit équipée de lits simples, là elles sont toutes les 5 équipées d'un lit double. Par contre on est resté du vendredi soir au dimanche matin weekend du 27 au 29/10 et on n'a pas eu très chaud, on a été obligé de rester pantalon et gros pull, alors qu'on avait prévu robe pour le repas anniversaire. "the house was spacious, all services were available. the kids had a lot of fun in the pool. the landlords were very friendly, they were discreetly present on site and available when needed. The house is secluded in a quiet neighborhood. by car were a number of nice villages to visit in the area. definitely recommended to stay here."

"The hotel was as described and a lot better than some of the rather mean reviews !! Staff were friendly, and easy going, no rush, the breakfast was as described and plentiful. This is not a 4 star hotel its budget and worked perfectly for me. It does what it says on the tin !! Its great value and so near the railway station , yet on a quiet side street. Whafs not to like ?"

"This was merely a stop off as it was close to Bas-Armagnac where we had a distillery tour. While we are more interested in French charm, this was more of a modern property but was perfect for our purposes. The room was huge and very clean with a pool view. The bathroom was awesome and even had a tub. The lobby area was nice and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend the property."

"Only comment would be that there were a lack of power outlets in the foom & the bathroom would benefit from some tlc. The bar & restaurant were not open. I'm led to believe seasonal opening although on Hotels.com said that they were on site however should gave advised if open or not"

Perfect place to think and unwind

"This was the most perfect place to think and unwind over a week, while being able to head out and see nearby sites. The pool, pizza oven, and barbeque allowed us to relax and chat; the grounds allowed us enough space not to be crowded. Perfect!"
