"We really loved the property, I have never seen such a great breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet in the main restaurant. Room and private pool were great. spa treatment was amazing. However, inconsistencies in service across the board (example: some guests were allowed to have breakfast outside before 7:30, some others while holding their baby needed to wait until exactly 7:30) and the overall cleanliness of the main pools (often accompanied by loads of bird poop) are simply unacceptable for a hotel with this rating and price point. Housekeeping seemed to be all over the place, same with bellhops and “Finest Club” amenities/service at the pool and beach."

"Very clean rooms and bonus the hotel is almos new less than 2 years The staff is always nice The pool area is very clean but and this is a huge but there’s almost no umbrellas in the pool area which is really needed The beach area is the same almost no umbrellas but at least you have all the Palmeras for shade They should invest a little more in putting more shade in the pool The food is good and there’s a lot of options to choose My teenagers had a great time I loved that they had sports options such as Kayak and Catamaran for free so that’s a really good thing Overal is very nice hotel and we had a great time "

"This property is dated and in need of a make-over/renovations. The staff do the best they can with what they have to work with. The room key on our wrist bands is very convenient. With the many March Break vacationers they ran out of beach/pool towels during the day and the food became scarce at the buffets/bbq if you did not get there at opening. There were gaps of time where there was not food available so plan accordingly. The waterpark was fun - though it did not look like the pictures online and a couple were under construction. The tennis and basketball courts were spacious and in great shape. Our son loved the basketball courts. The beach was clean. Not too many huts on the beach so go early to secure a good spot. This was a one and done for us and a 3 star at best. "

"They have a long way to go when it comes to food and restaurants. Many people got a stomach virus and ended up with IV in the medical facility of the hotel. Bring medications with you if you travel to DR."

"We recently stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana and had an excellent experience overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff throughout the resort were consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which really elevated the entire trip. We opted for the VIP upgrade with a swim-out room, and it was absolutely worth it. Having direct access to the pool added a level of convenience and luxury that made a big difference. A special mention goes to Jose, who did a fantastic job—attentive, helpful, and always making sure everything was taken care of. The restaurants were very good across the board, with a nice variety of options and solid quality. The beach was another highlight—clean, well-kept, and truly beautiful. The drinks were decent overall, though not always consistent depending on where you ordered. One of the standout experiences was the spa. The hydrotherapy session in particular was amazing and definitely worth doing—it was one of the most relaxing parts of the trip. We traveled in mid-March and couldn’t have asked for better weather—perfect conditions every day. Overall, this was a great vacation, and we would absolutely consider coming back again."
