10/10 Excellent

"We had such a wonderful stay! We chose to stay here because it was close to Chastain Park where we attended the Yungblud concert! Everyone was so helpful and friendly! I will say parking can be a little tricky if you aren’t used to cities like Atlanta - you can pay the hotel $60/day for valet parking with unlimited entry/exit —- the other way more costly option is a public lot right beside it BUT you pay by the hour. The most it will charge is $27 /day BUT if you plan on using your vehicle to get around town I do not recommend the public lot. The meter starts over at 7am. I had to run a few errands around 10am - so I paid $27 overnight PLUS 3 hours - $42 dollars I had to pay to get out. I quickly did the math of how that would add up with us needed to get around in our car. Take it from me who learned the hard way lol We chose the hotel parking for $60 after we returned from our errands. CHOOSE THE HOTEL PARKING SERVICE :) — we will definitely be back to stay there in ATL!"

"We LOVED this cabin. The cabin itself was decorated nicely and super spicy! It’s very spacious and super clean. The patio had amazing views of the mountains. Inside the cabin had anything and everything you needed. The FirePit was perfect it had plenty of wood. We spent many hours around it. Hot tub was in great working order and large/clean. We saw deer and other wildlife in the area.The communication with the owner was Fabulous, he was very kind and helpful in anyway possible. We cannot wait to return to this wonderful property!!"

"We really enjoyed the Desoto. From the valets who get your luggage and whisk away your car to the beautiful and tasteful lobby, it set the mood for a great trip. The location is great and rooms were comfortable and clean with a balcony that looked over the city and sunset. The only downside of the room was the lack of light good enough to apply makeup. The reason I could not give 5 stars to each thing about the Desoto was trying to get some help with our billing. After returning home, I saw that they had charged us for two rooms, ours and someone else's. We were in a group so I knew who had checked in behind us and thought a simple call could solve it. NO! First, there is NO extension for billing. I had to choose other extensions to get connected. The lady in billing was not interested that we had been billed twice. She was argumentative and said "they DID NOT MAKE MISTAKES like that". She stated that it was against policy to take a credit card over the phone. She stated that IF we had been charged twice, the person who should have been charged would have to come there IN PERSON (a 10 hour drive) to pay and get the charges reversed to us. Only when I requested to speak to a manager did she claim that she would make a one time exception. I called the couple that checked in behind us and after ensuring no charges were on their credit card from the Desoto, they called and straightened out the issue. It shouldn't have been so hard or so demeaning to handle their mistake."
