"Upon arriving for our day, we were quickly assigned to a clean room. The staff was excellent and very thoughtful for asking for any additional needs that we may have. The room was clean. The air-conditioned worked very well and our stay was very peaceful and quiet the next morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast which consisted of hot food, waffles, and many other delicious treats. I will truly add this to my list of one of the top places to stay in this area again for my next visit."

"We arrived early at the property to meet our friend and were planning on going out to lunch before checking in, but I ended up having the beginning of a medical episode. Ive had 1 brain surgery, 2 brain stents and get presyncope/pass out randomly and need to lay down, feet up for minutes to hours. Our room wasn’t ready since we were there a few hours earlier and Heather quickly found an open suite and allowed us to go in immediately. We were so grateful for her understanding and hospitality. It gets overwhelming when I’m in public and need to lay on the floor so getting into the room helped immensely. Also, the suite we were in had full ceiling to floor closet door mirrors. For those who fatigue easily and need to sit while putting lotion/make up/ doing hair, it was perfect. Normally the hotels I’ve been to require you to stand to see the mirror. Beyond that, all of the employees were so nice! There is free hot breakfast with so much food to pick from. There was coffee, tea and hot cocoa available throughout the day. And the front desk provided free water and cookies with our stay. The pool is open from 10am to 10pm and they have the chair for those with disabilities to enter the water. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through!"

"The room is lovely! Very clean and chock full of amenities. Bed super comfortable! We really loved just relaxing in the dock reading our books in the late afternoon. Jeannette was very friendly and communicative. We will definitely stay there again :)"

"The house is beautiful and well-appointed, perfect for a large group. The guest house allows some privacy/ separation from the rest of the group. It’s good to know: 1 of the bedrooms in the main house is the game room, people staying in that room don’t have much privacy if anyone else wants to play pool or arcade games. Also, another of the king bedrooms in the main house does not have an en-suite bath and must use half bath around the corner and/or share bath in the game room. The guest house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are connected by jack-n-jill bath. Then there is a 2nd bath for the other BR. It was great to have the ping pong and pool tables. There is a lot of grass growing in the lake close to shore which bothers some. We jumped off the dock to avoid it or you can take a boat out and swim from that. We had few issues and they were all dealt with promptly. Per house description, propane for the grill was not provided which we found a little annoying but in fact there was enough propane left for us to grill the one day we wanted to. The Blue Jay Bistro in town was only 11 minutes away and really nice."

"The property was amazing. The property owners were extremely accommodating and very easy to get ahold of. They are wonderful people. Our family trip/reunion there made our year!! Chris had great recommendations. Vicki is so kind and helpful with everything. I cannot put into words how great it was for all of us and the children to be there."
