"I've stayed in many hotels over the years and even the best ones usually have some deficiencies. However, this hotel was just perfect in every way. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, the room and public areas were clean and the room was cool (despite a heatwave). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The en suite bathroom was clean and well maintained and everything worked. For my room, the windows (that could be opened wide) overlooked a large enclosed lawn with garden seating available for guests to enjoy. The area was perfect... Just a few minutes' walk from the town centre yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. This is an excellent hotel and I highly recommend it."

"Great service and help from reception staff. Upgraded to a city view larger room. Shame the restaurant wasn’t open and breakfast is a little basic. Room decor is a little dated but comfortable bed and great blackout curtains "
