"A beautiful, quiet place hosted by a lovely older lady, who tells many good stories. Melin feels like the middle of nowhere, and maybe it is, but there are many animals to befriend. The place itself is simple, but cozy, with a heartfire burning in the early morning, when we were welcomed by the host at breakfast. It has a somewhat historical feel in that sense. Time did not touch this place so much. Speaking French is a necessary skill to have here."

"Wi-Fi connection was extremely weak & unreliableBathroom/water leaks – The shower was not functional & the bath leaked heavily causing water to pour through the kitchen ceiling. This resulted in water dripping directly onto us & our belongings while in the kitchen, raising a serious concern about electrical safety. The bathroom floor was stained & the kitchen ceiling showed cracks & visible water damage suggesting a long-standing leak.The bath plug was broken, the taps were not connected...
