"We had a fantastic stay at Azura. We were warmly greeted straight from the get go by staff who were all smiling and gave clear instructions on what to expect for the week. The villa was exactly as described - clean, indoor/outdoor showers, plunge pool, and multiple sitting areas. "It is our first visit to Mozambique. Linda helped us with every step from getting paperwork for the visa, airport pickup, ATM, groceries, tours. Baobab beach is a gorgeous tree park with excellent dining is within walking distance. Odyssea Dive offers great diving and tours. If you want to feel at home in Mozambique, look no further. "

"The owner was very hospitable and even let us start a few hours past check out as our flight was at 2pm. Colleen also arranged for a lovely cultural tour at our request. It’s a very nice place and the included breakfast was made to order and delicious! Not some bland breakfast bar. It was like breakfast at a cute ocean view cafe where you could order an omelette or French toast. Great stay"

"My family and I have stayed in many 5* hotels around the world but, by far, this has to be one of the loveliest places we have ever visited. One night was just not enough and, should we visit Mozambique again, we will be sure to allocate the time to fully appreciate everything this lovely hotel has to offer. If you find yourself in this area (with a 4x4 car), I highly recommend Travessia Beach Lodge."

"We loved the space inside the house. We were four people in total, and it was very comfortable for our two adult children and us to hang out in the living room, breakfast bar, or outside on the patio. The pool was just a few steps from the patio, very clean and comfortable, and very welcome in the hot days in January! There are a handful of restaurants within 10 min. walk, which we took advantage of on the nights we didn’t cook inside the villa. "

"Al momento della prenotazione le foto della struttura erano completamente diverse da quello che abbiamo trovato. Da una struttura tipica con stanze a capanna abbiamo soggiornato in bungalows in muratura completamente nuovi ma impersonali. Il contorno tenuto bene e carino. Cosa gravissima mi è stato rubato un costume dentro la valigia in camera e per questo ho ricevuto soltanto delle scuse da parte del ragazzo della reception e non dalla direzione. E' stata una vera violazione della privacy."

"The Villa is beautiful, Santo was wonderful and very respectful. The ocean is absolutely gorgeous, especially at low tide. We loved seeing all the local people working together. Unfortunately, the locals do not know how to leave the tourists alone, it’s especially overwhelming when you are trying to go to the beach behind the villa with your family. We highly recommend you chartering a boat from Mothassane, they made our trip to Vilanculos. "
