"Beautiful, historic home, with modern upgrades, and also historic origins. Very large, and can accommodate, a large family gathering. Extremely comfortable beds, very close to historic downtown Vicksburg. The host was extremely friendly and encouraging. This is the place to stay, if you are spending any time in Vicksburg!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Rachel's Place. The house is spacious and the porch was great for hanging out. The beds were comfortable and we had what we needed. There was even a gas grill outside on the porch for us to use. We did not fish on Eagle lake, we were actually in the area fishing the Mississippi river. So it was a bit of a drive into town, but we didn't mind that. Everyone we met was extremely nice and responsive during our stay."

"Checking in process was good, they had a great description of what to do when you got to property. No concerns there. I had my family with me on this trip, including a crawling 1 year old. We found the house to be very unclean when we arrived. We found some toenail clippings and some old food bits scattered amongst the floor.
