"Stay here when visiting for the women's Euros to see England WIN! 🙂 The stay was good value and met all our requirements. The room was clean and in good order. The bathroom was also good as was the shower. Bed was comfortable, don't remember any issues. Door felt secure to lock. The air con was effective, a little gurgly but I'll take it to keep cool! The windows also still open for fresh air. The self serve breakfast for €12 was excellent value and selection, especially when wanting to get a good start to the day at non Swizterland prices! Front desk staff were helpful and polite, no issues. We didn't use any nearby restaurants but it's basically opposite some and a shopping mall type place with a supermarket and food court type place and I think a McDonald's in reasonably walking distance beyond that so there are options. The hotel is literally just after the border from Switzerland into Germany. If you are travelling to and from Switzerland be sure to carry your passport as German border patrol check. Our room overlooked the check point which was interesting to watch 🙂 therefore you are right by the tram stop so super easy to get into Switzerland - it only takes about 20mins, so well worth the price difference. Others mentioned slightly odd smell in corridors which I did notice but no idea what it was and wasn't in our room so didn't really bother me. I would happily stay here again if needed and recommend to others. "

"This is a modern hotel, with excellent location. Excellent desk service and the breakfast is indeed something special. Fresh and beatiful bread offerings with outstanding options for a breakfast in every way possible. Walking is possible to just about the whole core of Lörrach. Also, the breakast person does everything to make it the highlight of the day!!"

"The hote is clean, quiet, fancy, modern in a great location. You could walk up to France and Switzerland :). Next to beautiful Rhein river and pretty park. On the top of everything it is next to a shopping mall with a big supermarket in. I enjoyed my time there "

"This probably our worst stay in a hotel ever! Thankfully it was only one night. The place is next to a lorry carpark and gets quite noisy with engines running all night. Beds are uncomfortable with very very questionable sheets. Towels - would not use them to mop the floor with them. No aircon of course. There was a fan but it wasn’t working. Can’t keep the windows open because of lorries running outside. The neighbour opposite our room was listening to some music on his phone but it was like if he is in our room - had to knock on their door at 1pm and tell them to turn it off otherwise my wife would have had nervous meltdown. I can go on but don’t want to remember the experience at all. Would have been better if we slept in our car "
