"OVER AND BEYOND: After a two night stay here, we were already very happy with the property and with Sarah’s friendliness, helpfulness and wealth of knowledge about the area. Then on the day we were leaving to head to Puerto Natales, we were involved in a car accident, so needed to get another rental car and stay another night in Punta Arenas. We called Sarah to see if there was still a vacancy for the night and she instantly volunteered to come out and meet us to assist as an interpreter for us with the other driver, police, rental car representative, etc. Her help with this was indispensable and she spent several hours with us. If you want to stay at a nice place where the owner really cares about people (and the environment), this is the place for you."

Everyone I met went above and beyond with such kindness and care that it felt less like a hotel stay and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. And the food — simply outstanding. The breakfast, included with the stay, was generous and delicious, and their restaurant is exceptional. Both lunch and dinner were beautifully prepared, full of authentic flavor and creativity. The cuisine alone would be worth a visit. La Yegua Loca is a special place — beautiful, comfortable, and filled with warmth. I would come back without hesitation and recommend it to anyone visiting Punta Arenas."

"We stayed one night before driving up to Patagonia as it was very close to the airport. Melita was an excellent host. She messaged us to make sure we had good directions and was very understanding when our flight was delayed and we arrived late in the evening. Easy parking within the gates in front of the house. Our room was very comfortable (cosy) with ensuite shower. Breakfast was simple and plentiful with Melita making us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this B&B - thank you for a wonderful stay."
