"We hired 2 chalets' no's 528 & 529. 528 was in good shape but 589 was not. The master bedroom carpets were dirty and the chalet needed painting. We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit. "It is close to Kruger park but they need to look at trimming the plats i understand the privacy issue but they are so tall it is claustrophobic."

"We had the cottage closest to the dam. It was absolutely perfect, with the most amazing sunrise view from our bed, which the owner told us about otherwise we would have slept through it. Such a tranquil setting, wish we had more nights than our 2 nights, so we could have had more chill time at the property. Ideal base to explore attractions in surrounding area. "
