"The pictures online don't do this property justice. The home is adorably decorated, but beyond even that, exotic deer/antelope roam just out your windows (outside a fence) and you get to feed them. But more than that, i) it's a comfortable walk to the Colorado River, and ii) the host was so generous to provide sweet baked goods and the finest coffee and more!"

"We’ve stayed multiple times at this house, we have a wonderful time every time! We love the location on the lake, the house is great, the back and porch and lawn are very nice! The stairs down to the dock are a bit scary to navigate if you have small kiddos with, just something to keep in mind!Vivianne has always been a wonderful host!"

"It was an incredible stay in a peaceful, beautiful part of Texas. The hiking offered around the property was gorgeous with views of the surrounding terrain. We were warm after our hike so we swam in the pool, it was very clean and perfect temperature to help cool us down. The free roaming animals were sweet and beautiful, they greeted us shortly after arrival! The back porch was lovely for breakfast or coffee in the mornings. We mainly cooked outside on the grill and enjoyed a fire one night. It stormed while we were there but the cabin was spacious and the sound of the rain on the roof was like a soundscape. We would love to stay here again for longer. "
